The Old Guys were out on track last night with Jeff, Mooney and Ron tackling Lime Rock Park in the GT4 cars. Jeff was the Old Guy of the night with a great race finishing on the lead lap in 4th spot. Ron clawed back to 7th a lap down after touching the grass and Mooney finished 12th. The competition is getting better, or we're getting older... LOL

The old guys were on track this week with East 2 West Racing. GT3 action on Sunday night, Williams F1 cars on Wednesday and Porsche Cup cars on Thursday. Best finish was Old Guy Ron Giovo with a P3 in the Williams and Spa in the Porsche.

All LMS drivers are welcome to strap in and turn the fast laps at the Racing Capital of the World! The brickyard has been synonymous with auto racing for over 110 years and tonight we race for 100 laps to see who can take the top spot and cross the yard of bricks ahead of the pack. Old Guy Ron here in the 84 Ferrari tried and tried but could not get past Ryan Frey last Sunday night. Jeff and Mooney were also in on the action, all 3 of us finished right together again in 6th, 7th, and 8th.

The Old Guys were out in force last night at the Last Man Standing Motorsports GrandpasKitchen.com GTE Team Race sponsored by Stair Fittings Inc. Ron and Chip landed 5th position, with Mooney and Jeff finishing in 6th and 7th. Great racing all around and a solid effort by all the Old Guys.

What's hot at Last Man Standing Motorsports? Team Racing! Last night the drivers teamed up in an epic battle with 15 drivers in 8 GTE cars. Brandon Duley and Julian Lockwood took the win over Zack Howell and Raymond Heilig in this 90 minute shoot out. The race was tight in the first half with Brandon pulling away from Ray early on but at the exchange Zack was running Julian down and fell short by only 10 seconds after 90 minutes of hard racing. Sean Williams and Todd Schwarz took the third spot on the podium with another great team effort, and the fastest lap of the race. Fan favorite Adam Novotny took the 4th spot at the stripe with team mate Uncle Don Ackley having the 2nd lowest incident points and running up front early. Two weeks in on the East 2 West Racing GT4 series and 2 wins for Old Guy Ron Giovo. Fellow Old Guy TJ Ahlman is also piling up the wins in the East 2 West Racing Track Series with 2 in a row of his own in the Porsche 992 at Long Beach and the Miata MX-5 at Red Bull Ring. This weekend Old Guys TJ, Ron and Mooney will be tackling the Sebring 12 hour which will be live on Bigg Wizurd TV. tv.wizurdracing.com

East 2 West Racing League is in full swing this week with all three series running league races, and the GT3 series coming up on it's season finale. The new series in the league is the Road Racing East Series which is being run Thursday evenings with the GT4 cars. With the recent release of the GT4 Aston Martin in iRacing the series now includes 4 different cars, with BMW, Porsche, McLaren and Aston Martin represented. Ron Giovo has jumped out to the early season lead winning the first two races at Red Bull Ring and the new Winton Raceway. In other news, TJ Ahlman is gaining momentum on Ron in the Wednesday Track Series West Championship with a victory in the MX-5's this week and only 2 races to go. Only 9 of the 12 races count and Ron sits with 4 series wins and TJ with 3, the series is heating up for a dynamic finish at the last race in the Porsche 992 Cup cars at Red Bull Ring. Last but not least, the season finale of the East 2 West GT3 Challenge Season 4 is on tap for Sunday night. Drivers will be running a double as the 100 minute finale will be live on Bigg Wizurd TV at 9:00 pm ET. TJ Ahlman took this victory in style winning the Porsche 992 Track Series at East to West Racing Wednesday night with a dominating flag to flag performance. Mooney finished 3rd and Ron 4th after a final turn move that was referred to as a good addition to the WWE.

Half way thru the month of March here at Bigg Wizurd TV and the racing is back in full swing at East 2 West Racing. With the Thursday series starting back up today in the GT4 cars at Red Bull Ring, all three series are up and running again. Last night in the Track Series West at Long Beach in the Porsche Cup 992's, TJ Ahlman took the pole, the lead, and the win, leading every lap. Ron Giovo held on to second spot until the final lap where Bill Edwards stole the spot away and ran off with P2 in the race. The Sunday series is coming to a close with 2 races remaining and everyone trying to hunt down Morgan Tegey as he extended his lead over the field last Sunday at Imola with another victory. Old Guys TJ Ahlman, Michael Mooney, Jeff Wyatt, and Ron Giovo all raced at Sebring in the team endurance series. Jeff and his teammate Tyler took the top spot among the Old Guys with a P4 finish.

New series begin and old series continue at Last Man Standing this week. The GrandpasKitchen.com GTE Series with leader Morgan Tegey enters the mid-season break with the first round of the GrandpasKitchen.com GTE Team Endurance Series as Brandon Duley and Morgan took the victory at Sebring this past Tuesday. The new series only runs once every six weeks, so watch here for details on race 2 at Watkins Glen in May. The Wednesday Mud Slinger Series is happy to bring on new sponsor "Baked by Love" with the second consecutive season of the Lucas Oil Pro Trucks. Bill Edwards took the win this week at Bark River Raceway. Details coming soon on how you can enjoy the delicious cookies that are "Baked by Love". Another new series in week 2 of the 10 week season, the RustRidge Studios IndyCar oval series ran at Las Vegas Motorspeedway where Michael Mooney took the top spot of the real drivers among a field of AI past champions. A huge congratulations to Old Guy TJ for winning the GT1 and overall from the East 2 West Racing Multi-Class East Series. Ron also leads the East 2 West Racing Track Series just over half way in the season.

The month of March is here, in like a lamb I would say, and out just like the end of the month, when the racing action is going to be raging like a lion. Season 4 of the GT3 Challenge winds down over the next few weeks where Morgan Tegey has command of the series winning again in Chicago on the street course. And just past the half way point, Ron Giovo has the Track Series lead working on Long Beach track for the next couple weeks. Congratulations are in order for the Season 2 Multi-Class winners; TJ Ahlman who took the overall championship and the GT1 Class win claiming victory in 8 of the 9 races counted beating Julian Lockwood in a close second; and Brandon Duley who took the top step of the championship podium in the TCR class edging out Sean Williams in the final race of the season. East 2 West Racing moves to pre-season mode where there will be a lot of practicing and tuning going on as the drivers prepare for the next season of prototype racing (pictured). Old Guy Ron took the season 2 F1 championship with a 4th place finish at Montreal this past Friday. Old Guy TJ took the championship victory in the Pro 4 Trucks in Season 3 of the LMS Mud Slinger Series with 3 wins in 8 races. Great showing by all of the Old Guys!

The Pro 2 Trucks have landed at Last Man Standing Motorsports. Wednesday's Mud Slinger Series moves into it's 4th full season of racing with series running on Dirt Truck tracks this season. There is also talk of running a few paved road courses. The Grandpa's Kitchen GTE series is the only LMS series mid-season as the drivers passed down under at the half way mark running at Bathurst. Morgan Tegey still leads the points over Julian Lockwood and Michael Mooney. Thursday saw the first very successful test of the IndyCar oval RustRidge Studios Track Day Series and the Formula 1 Season 2 finale went down to the wire Friday night with Ron Giovo taking the championship over Troy Banks and Brandon Duley. Monday is heating up with the LMS Xfinity Series and the Rookies will be racing the GT3 cars again Thursday late night. Four of the five series are in recruitment mode for the next week or two, so let everyone know that wants to race in a competitive fun environment there are spots available.
