I started making music cause my PTSD n I like working with talented artist from all over “Honestly, I didn’t get into music for fun or attention. I got into music out of pain, out of losing things, out of trying to keep my head above water when life was crushing me. I had a rough childhood, bad habits, lost jobs, lost myself… and then the pandemic hit and it felt like everything I knew just fell apart. I was having heavy anxiety, losing control, losing family. When my grandpa passed, the first thing I did after saying goodbye was go make music. My boy Chris — he’s the one who first put sounds in my hands. He told me straight up, ‘Music is gonna suck your soul.’
And he was right. It broke me, but it also healed me. Music took me out of anxiety. Music gave me confidence. Music gave me purpose when I had none. Music was the only thing in my life that didn’t judge me, didn’t leave, didn’t talk back — it just let me turn all the sh*t I was carrying into something I could survive. I didn’t start making music because I wanted to. I started because I needed to.”
