🎻 Recording & Performance Opportunities for Composers and Soloists.
Sound Espressivo, in collaboration with leading ensembles and industry partners, invites composers and soloists to take part in exclusive recording and performance projects:
🎼 Lehner Quartet – Record your string quartet with the acclaimed ensemble. Selected works will be distributed by Cicerone Music and Arts (CiMA) and presented live at Carnegie Hall.
🎶 Orchestra Manhattan – Record concertos, vocal works, or orchestral compositions with Orchestra Manhattan, conducted by David Wroe. Selected artists may be invited to perform at Weill Recital Hall.
🎵 Royal Philharmonic Orchestra – Record with the prestigious RPO, under Grzegorz Nowak. Artists may be considered for inclusion in a future RPO concert series, based on the recording.
📀 All recordings are professionally produced, mastered, and distributed on major platforms by CiMA.
📩 Applications open now for the 2025–26 season.

We are thrilled to present the Lehner Quartet performing the premiere of String Quartet No. 1 (IV. Moderato con anima) by composer Danlei Wang.
Composer Danlei Wang shares the inspiration behind this powerful movement:
“Moving from fire and velocity into calm and contemplation, the fourth movement of String Quartet No. 1 forms the emotional apex of the work. It lies between the ethereal reflection of the third movement and the funeral march of the fifth: perhaps like a day moving from golden sunrise to blistering noon to heavy night, or like a phoenix rising, soaring, and finally burning away. Creating this movement was transformative for me as a composer, and I am deeply grateful to the Lehner Quartet for their artful interpretation. I hope you will find yourself immersed in this piece, as I was when writing it.”

Swiss-based composer Katharina Nohl presents the world premiere of her new orchestral work - By the Baltic Sea, with Orchestra Manhattan under the baton of Maestro David Wroe.
This premiere continues Nohl’s growing presence on the international stage, following her recent Carnegie Hall presentations of La Lacrima and September Tango, which received James Adler Audience Favorite Award (USA, 2025).
