PON is BACK!!✨

This is a brand new mix, we love it, and hope you do too!

It wasn’t in our plans to stop selling PON, but now we’re kind of happy some inconveniences happened because it led to us making a mix we are much happier with!👇🏼

🪨The stones are a little bit larger and much less dusty.

It isn’t going to come in pre-rinsed by us, yet it’s still cleaner than the old PON after spending quite some time rinsing it out.💦

New PON vs Old PON

Repotting the Alocasia New Guinea Gold into Pon!🪴
📍We found this wishlist plant at last week and we’ve been kind of obsessing over it.🤩

Recently we’ve began to experiment more with potting Alocasia into closed containers again wondering if Alocasia might not love having their roots in an open resevoir. 🫙

So that is exactly what we did here with our new Pon mix!

For a while there we completely avoided closed container growing because we did have major root issues at one point and a lot of what we learned point in the direction of that being a bad idea.👇🏼

It was hard to point a finger at a direct issue.🤨

Could have been residue built up, salts, PH being off since closed pots can’t be flushed, or the nutrient mix we were making at the time. 💧

A few of the plants we left in closed containers for over 2 years now are still doing great, so think there’s a chance it might work out!🌱
