Many of us who grew up in Foster Care, found ways to escape from our trauma, and calm our anxiety through Reading Comics and Novels, Playing Video Games, Watching Movies, and even finding our passion for different art forms.
You’d be surprised how many of our favourite characters have come from broken homes, been adopted, or live with a surrogate family. These characters taught us to find strength in times of pain, and continue to help us as a form of therapy.
