Who’s been watching the Jeen-Yuhs doc on Netflix?

I am very much a pro “Old Kanye” person and fan. My favorite parts of the doc so far are his interactions with Donda. Kanye melted around his mother; he yielded to her thoughts and opinion of him.

I like to see that she instilled a lot of confidence in him but also wanted him to keep both feet on the ground. As someone who has never lost a parent, I can’t imagine what that loss feels like. I often wonder how he would be in the present day if she were still here to guide him. I’m not absolving his responsibility for his own actions as a man AT ALL; he is his own person & makes his own choices. But I do wonder.

What are your thoughts on the doc?

So I think Thursdays I might start being reserved for some throwbacks because I have a gazillion photos in my gallery sooooo this lovely picture is from December 2017 I believe and it was after the show for ‘Awaken, My Love!’.

The pizza selection is the ‘carne’, Which included Italian sausage, prosciutto Cotto, cherry smoked bacon, and soppressata. I’m sure that’s my beer at the bottom of the picture lol.

If you knew me in 2011/2012, I had never in my life been more enamored with one particular artist…

Happy Friday everyone & Happy Halloween Weekend! 🎃👻

I’m not sure where to start with this one. Mainly because the nostalgia of it all has it me in a chokehold. But I will start by saying that I am so excited to see that this tape is available for streaming on all major platforms & they added one new song to the tape!

I cannot believe that it has been 10 years since the release of ‘LIVE.LOVE.ASAP’. And I think that’s mainly because I cannot believe it has been 10 years since I was a freshman in college and just discovered him as an artist for the first time. The A$AP movement was HEAVY during my college experience. You can ask anyone that I used to kick it with and they will tell you the obsession I had with Rocky himself but also the entire Mob. I wanted to dress like them; I wanted to sound like them. I wanted to know what it felt like to be from New York, even though I am already from a very large city lol. I listened to this mixtape when I woke up, and before I went to bed.

I attended ASAP Rocky’s first ever live performance in Chicago, which was at The Pitchfork Festival the summer of 2012. I just couldn’t believe I was seeing this person that I was so amazed by in the flesh and I didn’t know until later that it was his first performance in my hometown that I was witnessing.

Does anyone else remember how they felt when this tape came out? Please let me know so that I can bask in my nostalgia with someone else!! 🤣🤣🤣

Happy Foodie Friday guys! Finally made it over to the in Hyde Park. It’s soooooo cozy in there & it’s giving all of the fall vibes 🍂🍁🍃

I love the ambiance & the peach julep was the perfect cocktail for the evening. We also had some of the best deviled eggs in my life (no lie), & the turkey burger, that was surprisingly juicy & flavorful because most turkey burgers I get from restaurants are too lean & very dry as a result.
