High Court Rejects Najib’s House Arrest Application
The Kuala Lumpur High Court has rejected Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s application to serve the remainder of his prison sentence under house arrest.

Following the ruling, Najib will continue serving his sentence at Kajang Prison, where he has been incarcerated since his conviction.

Najib’s Son Says He Had Already Packed His Belongings
After the decision, Najib’s eldest son Nizar Najib shared that his father had already packed some of his belongings in prison ahead of the hearing, believing his request for house arrest would be approved.

In a video posted on social media, Nizar said Najib appeared calm and hopeful when they met before the court session, expecting a different outcome.

‘Titah Adendum’ Still Disputed
Nizar also reiterated the family’s position regarding the existence of the ‘Titah Adendum’, claiming that the document exists and should have been recognised.

Ancient Remains Finally Making Their Way Home

A total of 41 ancient human skeletons, long held in the Netherlands, are set to return to Penang next month, marking a significant moment for Malaysia’s heritage and archaeological history.
The skeletal remains, which have been under the custody of the National Natuurhistorisch Museum in Leiden for decades, are now being transferred back to Malaysia and will be handled by the National Heritage Department.
Discovered Long Before Independence
The skeletons are believed to represent some of the earliest human inhabitants in the northern region of present-day Malaysia. They were uncovered during a large-scale archaeological excavation that spanned more than 80 years, long before Malaysia achieved independence.
Their prolonged stay overseas has often been cited as part of a wider colonial-era practice where cultural and archaeological artefacts were removed from their countries of origin for research and storage abroad.

Threat to Report Malaysian to CCP Leaves Locals Stunned
A heated confrontation involving a Chinese tourist and a Malaysian Chinese woman has gone viral after the tourist allegedly threatened to report the local woman to the Chinese Communist Party.
The incident left many Malaysians baffled, as the tourist appeared to assume that ethnic Chinese individuals outside China are somehow answerable to the Chinese government.

“I Am Chinese, I Will Call Zhongnanhai”
During the altercation, the Chinese tourist was heard claiming she would contact Zhongnanhai, the headquarters of China’s top leadership.
“I am Chinese, and I will call Zhongnanhai,” she reportedly said while dialing her phone.

Elephants Stop Traffic Along Perak’s East-West Highway
A heartwarming yet amusing video recently went viral, showing what appeared to be personnel from Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan) calmly interacting with a herd of elephants along the East-West Highway (JRTB) in Gerik, Perak.

The video, shared by TikTok user , quickly gained traction online as Malaysians were entertained by how the situation unfolded.

Calm Words Instead of Force

In the clip, the individuals were driving along JRTB when they encountered four adult elephants and a calf lingering by the roadside.
One of the men could be heard casually talking to the elephants, even counting them one by one, before politely asking them to head back into the forest.
Instead of retreating immediately, the elephants curiously moved closer to the vehicle, prompting the men to knock on the car and firmly but calmly “scold” them, while pointing towards the forest.
Surprisingly, the elephants appeared to respond to the gesture and direction, slowly turning around and making their way back into the trees.

Floodwaters Turn Playground into a Pool

A short video circulating online has sparked widespread concern after it showed children playing freely in floodwaters that had submerged a playground in Kuantan.

The 17-second clip, believed to be filmed at Perumahan Makmur Inderapura Jaya along Jalan Kuantan–Pekan, captured children splashing through chest-deep water, laughing as they climbed onto swings and slid down long slides now partially underwater.
To some, the scene looked almost like an oversized swimming pool created by the floods. To many others, it was deeply unsettling.
Adults Seen Watching as Children Play
What alarmed netizens further was the presence of adults nearby. In parts of the video, adults could be seen standing by the roadside, watching as the children played in the murky floodwater.
Despite repeated public warnings about the dangers of floodwaters, including contamination, strong currents, and hidden debris, the situation appeared to have been treated casually by those present.
