Phantom Doctrine Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars!

One of the best turn based stealth games that i have played! I find it even more enjoyable than the Xcom series. While the Xcom series focus on combat, Phantom Doctrine focuses on stealth and stealth takedowns. I had great fun avoiding enemies and quietly "disposing" of enemies on the various missions. Missions aside, building your spy network and managing your organization (be it CIA, KGB or Mossad) is great fun as well. There is even a mini game of solving clues for your spy cases. There are elements of mystery, suspense, urgency, action and Stealth, what more can you ask for? I highly recommend fans of games with stealth elements to try this game.

We Happy Few Review: 3.5 out of 5 stars

Quite an interesting storyline and you get to play 3 different characters exploring different perspectives of the story. I think it will make a good movie adaptation for its rich story, I would love to see one being made. It does have some great soundtracks as well. There are some refreshing game mechanics that is not seen in other games. However, there are some little bugs and annoyance here and there, but its not really game breaking for me. The most game breaking part is actually combat. Boy the combat system is horrible. It is very awkward and poorly executed. Being totally melee based, until you get further in the game, you are left to fend for yourself with sh*tty weapons. Coupled with low stamina and hit points, and enemies constantly blocking your hits, its really hard to fight especially when you are cornered. Stealth is mediocre and you occasionally find yourself in situations that stealth fails and are forced to fight. But hey, when you find yourself in stressful situations, why not pop a Joy? :)
