In those moments,
the love I thought had vanished struck once more at the door of my heart,
I, who was weary, exhausted by you, oh my homeland.
At times, I am ashamed to represent you.
At times too, I become jealous,
for they admire you when you are beautiful,
but they never let you shine for long.
And yet today, I want to blow with strength
upon the clouds that veil your sun.
Along the way, I came across your obstacles, between the mountains I was deeply shaken
by the smallness of Man,
who believes himself master of all things.
Then, in silence, I told myself:
“Doesn’t that mountain suddenly rise up over there, huh…”

Dans ces instants,
l’amour que je croyais disparu a frappé de nouveau à la porte de mon cœur,
moi qui étais lasse, épuisée de toi, ô ma patrie.
Parfois, j’ai honte de te représenter.
Parfois aussi, je deviens jalouse,
car on t’admire quand tu es belle,
mais on ne te laisse jamais briller longtemps.
Aujourd’hui pourtant, je veux souffler avec force
sur les nuages qui voilent ton soleil.
En chemin, j’ai croisé tes entraves , entre les montagnes j’ai été troublée, profondément,
par la petitesse de l’ Homme
qui se croit maître de tout.
Alors, en silence, je me suis dit :
Raha mijoro tampoka eo moa io tendrombohitra io anh …
