Well it’s been a rough start to the week. I had a medical episode over New Year’s weekend and I’ve been chasing what the hell happened ever since. Multiple trips to the VA led me to go to a sleep study.

Unfortunately right before the sleep study, I was described as having the effects of a seizure. We’re still not sure if that’s the actual case though. The VA found a hormone they want to follow up on.

While I’m left with questions, I did receive welcome answers and that’s what I’m choosing to focus on:

- My heart is awesome.
- My brain is awesome.
- My ketogenic diet is working.
- My cannabis usage is not an issue.

I consider myself truly blessed to have been in the right place at the right time to get a lot of fantastic documentation done for myself. I’m ready to keep pursuing betterment for myself and those around me.

My amazing, capable wife, Kayla has kept our household under control while I’ve been out of commission. I love her so much for her total and unending support while I work on myself. It’s humbling how much support I’ve received in the last 48 hours from the VA, but coming home and immediately feeling comfortable again is what it’s all about. And home is where she is. Love you babe, always and I promise!
