An actress known for portraying villains in her home country, she left behind her television and film career after marrying American marketing professional Jason Field and moving to the United States, where she began working as a hospice nurse.

Now Bernadette Vela Punzalan-Field (her full name) is back in the spotlight with a role on Season 2 of FOX Television's "The Cleaning Lady FOX."
