Wandering through the Peak District 🥾

This is one of our favourite easy walks in the peaks, the car park is a national trust (so technically free, girl maths 🤪) and it’s so pretty around here August/September time when the heather comes out 🥹

If you love a bit of a challenge with your dogs and incredible views, this is the hike for you! 📌

We did a 6 mile loop from Walna Scar car park (parking charges apply 🅿️) and there was an ice cream van waiting for us at the end which was such a treat after lots of scrambling 🪨

Tips for this hike:
🚗 Get to the car park early or visit on week days, it’s small and can fill up quickly
🦮 There is livestock on this walk so be careful with your dogs
🥾Lots of scrambling so wear appropriate footwear
🌦️ The weather changed the higher we got so pack a good windproof and waterproof jacket in your backpack
💧 Take water and snacks to keep fuelled
⛰️ Don’t forget to take in the views and take lots of photos
