Cine Sining Virtual Film Exhibit is a project of the Junior High School Media Arts students of Davao City National High School which features films which fuel the spirit of hope and resiliency to our fellow learners.

This show aims to provide opportunities for artists to harness their creative energies in uplifting the nation’s spirit, especially during this time of public health crisis. This year is completely a different set-up from last year since we will all be holding our exhibits and recitals online due to safety protocols. A different platform will not stop us young filmmakers to provide joy through our films. “Cine-sining” is not only a showcase of the skills and craft of student filmmakers, but it is also reminiscing of the world we knew before this new normal.

These films will spark different emotions from viewers, but overall, we believe that the audience will be overflowed with the joy of how art continues no matter what venue it is shown on.

May the films in this film exhibit be a tool of hope and a symbol of resilience that despite the health crisis, Filipinos always find ways to carry on.
