Dear Belinda, Laura Pausini and your respective fans,
On behalf of WFHN-TV, a producing partner of the Altísimo Live! festival, I am formally apologizing to the fans of Belinda and Laura Pausini, and Belinda and Laura Pausini themselves, for not having them appear during last night’s virtual fundraiser due to technical difficulties we encountered during the live-stream.
When we started producing this charity benefit just under a month ago, every best effort was made to limit the glitches as much as possible. Although every intention was to have both Belinda and Laura appear, it, unfortunately, did not happen for reasons that were out of their control. The goal of Altísimo Live! from the start was to hold space to honor and celebrate the courageous farmworkers on the frontlines in the United States and Puerto Rico during these unprecedented times.
Belinda and Laura, I want to apologize to you both directly if in any way your fans believe that you did not want to appear on the live-stream when that is simply not the case. I misspoke and for that I am sorry.
