Because photography is not just for clients it’s all those moments in between that are also just for me.

I still feel this exact sky this exact significant moment… I remember walking there and whom I was with… I remember the warmth and wholeness in my heart.

These are the moments I capture in and with every photo I take. I want my clients not only to have nice pictures but to remember the moment, the day, the emotions in all their colours and facets…just like this sky.

My sweet boy is turning 8 tomorrow!
Here’s a little story about him:
He was born in Germany had his first birthday in England, his second birthday in Kona Hawaii his 3rd birthday in Maidenhead England, his 4th,5th &6th birthday in Siegerland Germany and his 7th in Port Vila Vanuatu… this will be his 2nd birthday here on the island of Vanuatu.

Photo taken on one of his favourite fields in Maidenhead UK a few months before he turned 3... This is one of my personal favourites and a time where I was still and coaching / where this page was thriving at

My name is Melissa and I’m thrilled to take your family photographs, capturing memories is my passion. I love natural light and life style photography, elopements, weddings… and pregnancy photography, BUT occasionally I’d love to do some commercial photography/ brand photography too.

Oh and I will open up slots for school photography for next year as of November 🙌🏼 I’m still finishing up with two schools here in Port Vila

Hey Mama… it has been a long time since I’ve been here… and I’ve struggled with an imposter syndrome … I mean I was a failed business owner - not because of my business but because I failed you all by not taking care of myself and burning out. Therefor letting you “hang” while not showing up for long time spans and when I did I was soon gone again because I was still healing while I was so busy with life, studying further, a new business, illness a big move and motherhood.

In that whole time my body failed me and then it got healed by a baby sent from God. My 5th child! Between then and now we’ve also moved from Europe to an island nation called Vanuatu. But I’m here to tell you something so important :
EVERYTHING happens for a reason!
Your weakness can be the pivotal point that changes your whole life and that of your family !

💛And I’d like to encourage you today to :
💛Take time to rise up
💛Take time to EMERGE
💛Take time to follow your dreams
💛Take time to fight what you believe in
💛 Take time to finally START and STOP overthinking
