Hi all! 👋🏽 There are a lot of new faces that have recently started following this page so I thought I’d introduce myself!

My name is Gaby Duke and I’m a Deaf mama who is married to a hearing husband (Trenton) and have 3 hearing kiddos (Tucker👦🏼, Daxton👦🏻, and Summer👧🏼). We live in Dallas, Texas.

I am passionate about reaching the Deaf community with the Gospel, educating the hearing community on the 98% who don’t know Jesus, and encouraging other believers through the hope we have in Jesus when life gets hard.

I wish I could meet every single one of you in person and chat over ice cream as I LOVE intentional conversation but for now, IG will have to do! 🍨

We have been quiet for a while. That's only because we have been working behind the scene to prepare for next season. A lot of meetings and pre-interviews to get ready. Our heart is that in every episode that we will reflect the glory of God.

We don't create just to create or stay relevant. We create because we want to see our Deaf community impacted with the Gospel.

While it's hard work, it's so worth it. This is the best season yet. Every interview reflects the glory of God. Every episode point to Jesus.

Y'all pray with us that many will be impacted. Pray for as the videos go into post-production.

It’s easy to get caught up in negative thought processes. When you find yourself struggling, remember the acronym S.T.O.P.

P- place

We've been putting together Season 3 for a couple months now and y'all, please be praying for it!

We will be going deep in season 3 with some hard topics with some really brave people that are willing to share their stories with you all.

Titus 3:3-7 describes this season well..."At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life."

Its that time of year again…. And I am so thankful! Happy Anniversary !!

10 Y E A R S.

Year 1: This was such a hard year, I didn't think we'd make it to year 2.
Year 2: Still hard as we were on one income and I was still in ReGen, but bc of Jesus we were able trust in His plan for us instead of bickering and to make it to year 3!
Year 3: We celebrated you graduating college and getting baptized! First time I ever cried tears of joy was this year....while married to you. 🙂
Year 4: I stopped working full time. I went part time so that I could to go to school and start a ministry that you supported me so well and encouraged me in.
Year 5: We had a baby!!!!
Year 6: Watching you with our son has been the best, and you still make sure I take care of me.
Year 7: We left the comfort of Trenton’s job as he pursued a new one and it’s been (mostly) great! Found out we were pregnant with baby #2 which leads us to...
Year 8: Baby Dax was born, I dealt with some post partum depression/anxiety, sold and bought a new house while living with my mom. 🤪 Trusted the Lord in taking a step down to serve the Deaf in a different capacity.
Year 9: oof. It’s been similar to year one as I’ve struggled with fear/anxiety and apparently I have minor OCD?! Trenton you have been a rock, a source of comfort, sanity, and support! This year has def had its downs but also has had its ups! We took the boys on their first road trip which exceeded all our expectations. We partnered with to launch the .gospel.centered podcast, continued renovations on the house, and learned how to partner better in parenting our boys.
Year 10: We got pregnant with baby #3! It’s been a big trusting the Lord exercise. I wasn’t sure I wanted another but you were confident in adding a 3rd. We broadcasted a conference with DMP out of our home and it’s been so fun serving the Deaf community together. We started the process of figuring out the best church fit for our family which has been hard but we are confident the Lord will continue to lead us.

Trenton, there’s nobody else I’d rather laugh, cry, cook, conflict, and journey through this life with than you!

Lately I’ve been getting up early in the morning to go on walks in hopes of getting this baby out before due date.

I am NOT a morning person and I value my sleep but have found a sweetness about walking in the cooler mornings because of the stillness that comes with it. No social media, no kids pullIng on me or asking me questions, no hurriedness.

I have actually started to use these morning walks to pray for alllll the things and it been a great way to start the day. Sets my heart and mind in the right place. It’s easy for me to complain in this season and this helps shift my perspective.

So thankful for these mornings and how it has led to more conversations with my Savior! ☀️

Episode 8 update and bumpdate!! Friends! 5 more weeks until baby Duke #3 makes his or her debut (we didn't find out gender, will find out at birth!) and we couldn't be more excited! Partly bc we are excited to meet baby and also because pregnancy #3 has been exhausting physically and emotionally.

Prayer and reminding myself of what is true, excellent, right and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8) has been keeping me patient and sane. Thankful to be able to turn to the Lord in times of frustration and impatience. From day 1 this has been one big trust exercise.

Excited to see what the Lord has in store for our family! And if baby wants to come early, we're good with that ;).

Friends, it was a delight to interview and , about sibling relationships! They've had a lot of ups and downs and I learned some new things about the CODA relationship between a deaf and hearing sibling. It was a treat to interview them!
