Do I think divorce should be taken lightly? No. Do I think more people should be divorced? Yes. We’ve all seen those couples that clearly hate each other. That complain to their boys or need a girls night to get away from their husband… that’s not normal. That means you don’t like each other. If you tell yourself you’d break up if they were just your bf/gf - being married doesn’t change that. Divorce is a much better option than a lifetime of resentment and struggle just to say you did it. If you’re both truly in love and want it to work, you’ll put in the work to make it better. It’s not as shameful as you think, and if people in your life want to make you feel that way- then they don’t have your best interest in mind. People lie, people change, hard things happen. Sometimes divorce is the nicest thing you can do for each other
