Congratulations to managing editor Austyn Hackmann, who is just one of 25 students around the country to participate in the Student Press Law Center’s 2026 New Voices Student Leaders Institute.
Austyn will train to “improve [her] leadership and organizing skills; deepen her understanding of civics, lobbying and press freedom; and develop her role as a leader within the New Voices movement.”
She is also committed to serve as a student leader for New Voices this coming school year. The Delphi is so proud of Austyn for her continued work advocating for the First Amendment and for being one of three students representing New Jersey this year!
