Summer is almost here! Today is the last day of finals. To start the day off is a study period, in which students are to go to their 2A class to start the day. If they don’t wish to partake in the study period, they can simply come in time for the start of their first exam as they could on the first two days. Tomorrow, Monday, June 9, is the first day of finals! Look at the image above to see the testing schedule for the day. As long as students have a ride into school that isn’t the bus, they can arrive in time for the start of their first exam. This is something that goes for the entirety of finals week. Final stop: after a long day, Del Val went to Ford’s Theater and the Peterson Boarding House - the sites where President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated. At the theater they heard a presentation about the events surrounding President Lincoln’s death. To end their day in Washington D.C. they got ice cream.
