Dear Dad in Heaven,
Today is Father’s Day, and though I was too young when you left this world—barely six—I carry a quiet memory of you in my heart every single day. I often wonder what life would be like if you were still here: what your voice sounded like, how your hugs felt, what advice you’d give me as I walk through life. I miss you in ways words can never fully express.
Even though you’re not physically here, your presence has been felt in every lesson, in every struggle, and in every victory. And the reason I’ve come this far is because of the incredible woman who stood strong in your absence—Mum.
To my precious Mum, Happy Father’s Day.
You didn’t just raise us—you became both mother and father. You carried the weight of two roles on your shoulders with unmatched strength, grace, and love. You gave us direction, protection, and belief in ourselves even when you were hurting too. You are my hero, my rock, and the reason I smile through storms.
Thank you for every sacrifice, every bedtime story, every prayer you whispered over us while we slept. Thank you for being my father when I didn’t have one, and for keeping Dad’s spirit alive in our home through love.
Today, I honor you both—my father in heaven, and my mother on earth who filled his shoes with so much love.
