We are super excited that Jared Mendenhall came back this season and shared more of his work with us! We hope you enjoyed "A Study in Ugly Neon Blue!"

Jared Mendenhall is currently a Senior at Utah Valley University. He is studying both Creative Writing and Journalism. He has been fortunate enough to be working as a writer for the UVU Review this past semester. He has always wanted to be a pirate but he doesn’t really like parrots and lacks the requisite peg leg. So, he writes, usually about pirates, and he dreams.

Jared has also been published in two of UVU’s publication journals, those being Warp and Weave and Touchstones. His short story, Alice, Where is Alice, won first prize for prose in the Fall of 2018. He is a huge fan of books, mainly because they smell good. He also loves music, of the punk and rock varieties, and movies of all sorts. Basically, he is easily entertained.

We'd love to thank the third of our amazing guest actors this last week on "Murder Prom" by welcoming back Karli! You may remember her from her amazing performance as Reese from "Mountain Berry Crunch!" Thanks again for joining us on "We Liked You First!"

Karli has been performing for crowds large and small since the age of three. She has a degree from California State University in Musical Theatre, and has been involved in various performance workshops all over the country. She grew up in Cedar City, Utah and currently resides in Nampa, Idaho. She has made a career of acting like a fool in public, and has won several awards for her character portrayals on stage. Now if Spielberg will just realize that he desperately needs her for his next movie, she'll be all set!
Karli spends her free time playing make believe with her cuter-than-a-button toddler and avoiding making dinner until the absolute very last moment every day. She has also been known to spend entire days voluntarily trapped in the pages of a book.
