Spent the week last week with Connor Waghorn at the stunning Lac des Papillons. It was a tough week with temperatures being hot, then rapidly dropping but we worked hard and still managed to get some bangers. A great place with excellent hosts Colin Kelley and his wife Noelle and there dog Willie. Here are some of our best from the week 🎣

"Sometimes the thing you love most is the hardest thing to do when you're struggling."
​I’ve been taking some time out recently. It was a strange cycle: I’d want to go, I’d prepare everything, but when the day came, the motivation just wasn't there. For someone whose life revolves around fishing, it was a tough pill to swallow.
​I'm finally on the other side of it now. I’ve had a few successful trips lately, and my headspace is so much clearer. Catching this stunner yesterday was just the icing on the cake. It’s good to be home.

After taking some time off it was time to dust down the gear and test the balance of the new reels by doing some dry casting.... it didn't go well!
