Something I’ve noticed in the industry lately, girl we need to zoommmm
We’re not saying skip your wide shots or multiple angles because we need those too BUT we don’t want to be straining our eyes to see your work PLUS there’s just something about 2x and 4x zoom that is perfection
So if you want my camera settings for gorgeous content screenshot below
→ Record video: 1080 HD at 60fps (switch to 25fps PAL if you notice flickering under artificial lighting)
→ Enhanced stabilisation: on
→ HDR (High Efficiency): off
→ White lock balance: on
→ Sound: stereo
→ Formats: Most Compatible (Instagram compresses your footage on upload, and Most Compatible tends to hold its quality better through that than High Efficiency does)
→ Live Photos: off (less blur when you’re holding the zoom steady, smaller file too)
→ Film at the 2x or 4x lens markers instead of dragging the zoom slider, it switches to a lens made for zooming in and gives you that compressed, professional looking shot
And if you really want to get in close, especially for lash extensions, a clip on macro lens is always worth adding to your kit ✨
