Today being Wednesday 06/04/2022 The Yobe State Commissioner of Ministry for Basic and Secondary Education Hon. Dr. Muhammad Sani Idriss, Says all public schools in the state will close on Friday the 08/04/2022

While final year Students will remain in their respected schools for extension program due to the fact that their forth coming examination (Waec and Neco) is around the corner.

The Commissioner made this statement in his office in a Ramadan message to Yobeans. He prayed to almighty Allah to accept our prayers in this holy month of Ramadan.

He further seek the full support of parents to support their children in preparation for the forth coming examination.

The Commissioner further express his appreciation to the executive Governor of Yobe State Hon. Mai Mala Buni, for the creation of an avenue in the lives of Yobeans especially Students.

He said Yobe is the only State in Nigeria Which pay the examination fees to all final Year students in the entire State each year.
He emphasize that this is a great opportunity to Yobeans and they should honour it and grab the opportunity.

He said Students should be aware that no high institution in this Country admit Students with failure's in their result and reciting an examination is a difficult aspect, so all SS3 Students should used this opportunity given to them.

He further concluded by praying to almighty Allah to grand the parents wisdom to serve their state in a better way.
