Tomorrow’s Journalism Workshop is set to take flight at the AVR, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, with the theme “The Pilot Episode: Leaving a Legacy through Storytelling.” ✈️✍️

Joining us is Assistant Professor Dennis Gutierrez from the University of the Philippines, who will share his expertise in Broadcast Communication and Media Studies — inspiring participants to tell stories that leave a mark and uphold the essence of journalism. 📝✨

As our world keeps on hustling and bustling, we sometimes leave ourselves struggling alone in the dark. And it seems that no one can see or hear our cries.

Yet inspite of this, we still have the strength to light up the world when we stand by each other.

On this day, our Guidance Office commemorates the importance of our mental health with Chalk Art - illustrating the power of compassion and understanding for each other. Today, we celebrate each illustration, each story, as we continue to navigate the world.

To our professionals and adovcates of mental health, we thank you for your continued effort to navigate psychology.

Lastly, we thank you for still being here - fighting for every day.

These lessons extend beyond materials and lectures, as they also shape who we will become both in the skies and on the ground. Their influence may not always be celebrated, but today, we give thanks to their tireless efforts and timeless values.

This Teacher’s Day, we pause to give due recognition to those who devote their lives to teaching. They are the architects of our ambitions, and without them, there is no foundation to build success upon.

Voices United: Rise for Change

Today, the streets become the people’s stage — where every chant, every step, and every raised fist echoes the demand for justice and accountability. The National Day of Protest is not just a date on the calendar, but a living reminder that the Filipino spirit cannot be silenced, and that true power lies in the collective voice of the people.

From students to workers, undergraduates to professionals, this day unites us under one banner: the fight for a nation that truly serves its people. It is a movement fueled by courage, hope, and the unyielding belief that change is not only possible but inevitable when the people rise as one, when voices speaks together as one and when a nation is united in purpose.

We stand today not just out of the anger we felt with the endemic corruption of the government, but a symbol of our responsibility to speak the truth when our voices are being silenced, when our promised justice is being suppressed and when our grievances are being ignored. It is the time for us to question the government and to shake the foundation of the so–called “democracy” that are given to us.

May our voices along with the questions thrown to condemn the wrongdoing echoes throughout history, and become a declaration that the people will never forget, will never be squashed, and that the fight for justice, accountability, and truth will prevail until change is felt within our people. Today is a manifesto of proving that the spirit of unity remains alive!
