NAIL081 Eerified Catacomb - Night's Threshold

Originally released on tape by the mighty Perverse Homage this split of abrasive raw Black Metal is finally out on vinyl

Eerified Catacomb opens the rite with oppressive guitars and spectral howls, summoning a cavernous resonance reminiscent of ancient tombs and forgotten rites.
Night’s Threshold follows with a more drifting yet equally cursed offering, eerie melodies wrapped in distant, collapsing echoes and haunted ambiance.
Both projects use minimalist structures and cursed atmospherics to evoke a deep sense of decay, ritual, and buried memory.
Despite their differences in ex*****on, the split feels unified by a shared reverence for deathly stillness and blackened dream states.
A rite of passage for those drawn to dungeon rituals and the deeper shadows of the raw Black Metal spectrum.

This release feels very special to me since it's a really unique album that I grew up with.

I hope that now that it receives it's first ever vinyl version, exactly 30 years since it was first released, everyone will get to discover or even re-discover it and appreciate it as much as I do!

The legendary On Thorns I Lay debut “Sounds of Beautiful Experience”, is a deeply emotional work steeped in melodic sorrow and ethereal atmosphere.
A record that walks the line between Doom and Gothic sensibilities, drenched in elegiac guitar work and lush orchestration, evoking both yearning and catharsis.

Drowned in Hallucinogenic Visions lives up to its name, offering a chaotic yet structured assault of lo-fi psychedelic Black Noise.
Buzzing frequencies and buried riffs form a trance-inducing wall, within which disembodied screams echo like curses lost in feverish haze.
The atmosphere is one of psychic collapse, suffocating, scorched, and riddled with flickers of visionary delirium.
This is not noise for its own sake, but a calculated ritual of disfigurement, channelling the terror of altered realities and the dissolution of the self.

NAIL086 Slutet - Love & Beauty (Forgotten Version)

This is NOT a new Slutet album.

This is, however, a recently unearthed, alternative version of Slutet's only LP "Love & Beauty".

Found this in the obscure deep folders of my old computer, which i thought didn't work anymore. apparently this version has been made and has been saved at some point in time, i guess autumn-winter 2019-20 in the midst of drug hazes.i can't remember at all. literally did not know this even existed. buried deep in the hard drive depths.

It is the same album, but with slightly different sound, mixing and presentation (with an obnoxiously loud snare). The vast majority of all noise/samplings/ambiance/interludes found on the LP are omitted on this version it is more direct and focuses completely on the actual Slutet songs. also, in this version, the bass work is more audible and clear. I guess some folks may get irritated by that snare, but it is exactly that snare which captivates me to return to this version again and again it sounds even more unhinged, aggressive, ferocious and psychotic than the original work.
Also it has a slightly different track list and titles.
It is the same album fundamentally; another vision of it, if you will, a stripped down version.
