Usalia asked me to open a Kit Kat for her, I opened it and split it and gave her both sticks. She ate one and gave me the other one. I asked her, "Are you sure? You don't want to eat it?" She went to sit on the couch and said "You eat it!" And went on with her day lol. So sweet. 🥰🩷 Sometimes you just gotta let people do what they want to do, they will show you themselves who they are. I think kindness comes naturally. Of course we can try to teach it, but it has to come from within.

🎀 𝐌𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: For 2023, I have been doing the ground work and have been working on my mental health. It has been hard this year with many depressive episodes, mainly with as a stay at home mom, I struggle a lot internally and I have to shift my mindset and change my thinking. When I create or do anything, it's a labor of love. I put love into everything I do, whether it's making meals, cleaning, organizing, making our day to day life easier, teaching my child, raising her, I make our apartment a home. I had a hard time with how I looked at my value because I'm not earning much money. I had to reframe my mindset and understand that I contribute so much more and in many ways than just financially and my value and worth is not just with what job I have or how much I make, my value lies within my heart and so much more. You ask me what I bring to the table? I bring what my husband "brought" and multiply it and make it 10x better. But it's not to say my husband only contributes financially, he does a lot for our family. But of course I still want to make my own money as I've always had before Usalia and also contribute $ to help my family. It's just going to take some time and hard work with my business and side hustles. But overall, I'm so grateful with everything I have and the position where I am. I can create and work on my dreams. I am thankful for everything. 🤍🤍🤍
