So many people ask ‘Why did you create this event?’ The short answer is that there is nothing like it in publishing/editorial industry. No other publication offers the opportunity for readers to get a glimpse physically and emotionally into the production of a magazine front cover. Now we have made this accessible to anyone and everyone with an open invite to The Front Cover Academy where they can put themselves in the spotlight and learn the process of shoot production with the end goal of holding their own printed covers in their palms! 🗞️

We’ve had conversations about giving this event 2 dates in the annual calendar due to its popularity… so we’ll see if this opens up! 🤭

We may have been radio silent for the last two weeks, whoopsie 🤭, but this definitely hasn’t meant our work has been silent… in fact it’s been anything but!

Here’s a mini run through of what the team have been up in the last 2 weeks 🤍

1. We hosted our 2nd Front Cover Academy Day which saw 50+ guests attend at Images to come very soon!

2. We were delighted to welcome to our pages as an official Guest Style Writer

3. Brontë has been working really closely with the Fashion Marketing students at who have been using FCM as a brand subject for their modules

4. We launched our Spring Issue 2026 featuring and the first one to ever be produced with a beautiful branded spine

5. We announced that FCM will officially The Media Partner for for 2026, where we’re hosting a brand-new event on the Chat Stage Theatre all about rural style!

6. On Wednesday last week we were invited to Badminton Horse Trials with our friends at to produce some exciting content for the upcoming show season

7. Our Editor has been invited to a lot of events for Fashion Week with the big show being this Thursday!

8. And finally we’ve moved home! We’re so excited to have moved into a new office in the beautiful landscape of Nidderdale at our Editor’s family home and the renovation for this will come over the next months!

There’s no event for Femme Country Magazine Ltd where I will ever say no to behind-the-scenes photography... not only does these specific galleries humanise our publication, but they also serve as a function to tell the deeper story and meaning of every event 📸

beautiful BTS content for our Front Cover Academy Event last weekend proves visually why these photographs make all the difference. From seeing the interactions between guests meeting for the first time, to capturing the tiny details that are often the most valuable can only be made happen though the eye of BTS photographer as they watch the event unfold.

As the manager of this event, I’m often moving between make-up, sets, photographers, and assistants, ensuring everything runs seamlessly and the organisation remains precise. In truth, I frequently miss these fleeting interactions in real time. That’s why returning to a gallery a few days later feels so special, it reanimates the entire day, allowing me to experience it again, this time through a more reflective and intimate lens.

I can’t wait to see this event grow year by year and as I type my team are already looking into next year’s calendar for a date for The Front Cover Academy 2027! 🤭🗓️
