In the second of our Runway chats the Editor-in-Chief of was delighted to speak to Gemma Davison the owner of The Spanish Boot Company who were one of our official Event Sponsors at the show back in October this year 🎙️🤍👢

Styling nearly all of their collection, there wasn’t one part of our runway that didn’t grace one of their Classic Riding Boots and as a brand who don’t compromise on practicality when pairing with style, there were looks galore!

Who doesn’t love an interview?! 🎙️ During the rehearsals at our Country Muse Runway, we sat down with some of our models, the sponsoring brands and team to chat all about the behind-the-scenes action, style and laughs that went on beyond the catwalk.

Come peek behind-the-scenes on our photoshoot with for the official Winter Issue 2025 Cover of 📽️🎬📸

Being on set at Clare’s home for the Winter cover shoot felt like hanging out with a bunch of friends who just made something incredible happen! The entire day unfolded into a blur of laughter, running jokes, and playful moments that kept everyone grinning between shots. Clare has this effortless ability to turn even the most glamorous setup into something joyfully human; one minute she was perfecting a pose, the next she was cracking a joke that sent the whole team into hysterics. The air was filled with that contagious kind of silliness that only happens when everyone is not just working together, but truly enjoying each other’s company.

Seeing Clare step into the spotlight for her own Winter cover, radiating elegance and authenticity, made every giggle, every outtake, every shared look of “this is really happening” feel that much more meaningful. It was a day where joy and accomplishment lived side by side, and being part of it felt nothing short of special.

Our Winter Cover Shoot was truly something to cherish and how beautiful does our Cover Lady look?! 🗞️💙❄️

Having known Clare would be our Winter cover since the start of 2025, it’s been truly exciting piecing together the article, the styling, hair and make-up and of course the main cover. Shooting at Clare’s home was such a personal motive, and something she endeavoured to do from the initial shot planning. It was inspiring to see her so comfortable sketching her designs in her own space to conclude the shoot, so much so that the team could’ve watched her in awe all day!

She was the first ever Winter Cover Lady of Femme Country Magazine back in December 2019, now returns gloriously 6 years later to grace our front cover again! 🩵

From having 22 silk scarves in her collection back then to now enlightening over 400 beautiful pieces and now 2 tailored garments, Clare is no stranger to quick expansion within in her business.

Her story is one of authenticity, artistry and openness with the business originally being born from her own brushstrokes and original paintings - ones which you now see on her designs. As she moves into 13 years of sobriety we’re delighted to sit back down with the gorgeous artist herself to find out the wonders behind her 6-years growth and watch her sketch the next collection, all revealed inside this issue! 🎨🖌️
