This is absolutely disgusting.
The Supreme Court has struck down the mandatory minimum sentence for child po*******hy possession and access — calling it unconstitutional.
This means judges can now give lighter sentences in certain cases, instead of the 1-year minimum previously required.
It’s another example of how the Liberal government’s justice system puts offenders first, not victims.
Canadians deserve laws that protect our children — not loopholes that protect criminals.
