Last year was⌠well, letâs just say it wasnât the year I had planned.
First, our car went up in flames. Literally. One minute it was parked in the garage, and the next â it was consumed by fire. P**f. Gone. In less than an hour.
By mid-2024, our second daughter decided to make her entrance a few weeks earlier than expected. Beautiful? Absolutely.
But my birth experience wasnât.
And just when I thought I couldnât handle more, we lost my dad in September. It was devastating to say the least.
Still stings so much.
SO MUCH.
By the time 2024 wrapped up,
we were dealing with family problems
that felt like the universe was saying,
âOh, you thought we were done?â
âNope, hereâs more.â
2025 came in swinging too.
Iâm honestly running thin on everything: mommy-ing, working, paying bills.
Exhausted doesnât even begin to cover it. đ¨
But hereâs the thing: Iâm rebuilding my service business!
I must be crazy. I know.
Who starts a business when life feels held together by only faith and prayers?
But â¨somethingâ¨
in me says nowâs the time.
Maybe because Iâve already been through the worst.
⨠Life doesnât come with a manual. â¨
Iâve learned to stop fighting the mess.
And trying to âfixâ everything just made it heavier.
Letting myself feel it all â holding Ms. 8-month-old at 3 a.m. or watching my toddler snort-laugh at something ridiculous â thatâs where I found little pockets of peace.
Joy doesnât wait for perfection.
⨠Success looks different now â¨
Itâs not Instagram-perfect lives or some big bank account (though this would help A LOT).
Some days, itâs just getting out of bed.
Other days, itâs landing a client or making my toddler laugh so hard she snorts.
Smaller wins? They count just as much.
⨠Iâve started carving out time for what matters. â¨
Every day, no matter what, I give myself and my business 90 minutes.
No excuses. No distractions.
Is it easy? Nope. But itâs worth it.
Those 90 minutes remind me
Iâm still here. Still fighting. Still building something.
Rebuilding is scary.
Exciting. Messy. Perfect? Not even close.
But Iâm doing it anyway. Because waiting for the ârightâ moment is just another way of staying stuck.
And honestly? Iâm not great at âgetting stuckâ. đĽ
This is my re-invention era.
And Iâm *freaking* scared.
Still doing it â one messy step at a time.
Stick around, yeah? Iâd love for you to be here while I figure this out.
Re-building something? Let me know!
Iâd love to have an accountability buddy.
