Eng. Bernard Amuor Makeny the South Sudanese Martin Luther King Jr brought back ‘’ HOPE’’ into Nile Petroleum Corporation Staffs’ hearts yesterday at Gobat Depot welcoming celebration.

When Martin Luther Jr gave speech that moved the world in 1963, many people around the world were seeing his speech contents to be bearing impossible promise. However, this speech changed the face of slavery patterns in United States of American. Black people gradually regained back most parts of their rights as result. Today black and white or red Indian people sit together, shares many things and eat equally as it was prophesied in the dream of Martin Luther King Jr. The most resemble speech to those historical speeches that changed the history records was also spoken out yesterday by Eng.Benard Amour Makeny during staffs gathering to receive the new MD. Bernard in real sense brought back hope into Nile Petroleum staffs’ hearts. This new development come in at the time the corporation was sinking into deepest ocean under former Managing Director Chol Deng Thon. The culture of hatred, rampant corruption and organised segregation took depth root causing much damages amidst staffs and the whole system. Managing Director exposed that in 100 days his contract will engulf on the following matters: -
a. Staffs welfare, Bernard promised to bring back health insurance system, a quest that all staffs were hoping for through previous period of 1 year. Health insurance of course bears significant contribution to welfare of the staffs. Almost all staffs believed insurance is most important than the salary itself as it covers the biological family members. Furthermore, he pledged to establish new cooperative system whereby staffs will be assisted with food items especially less income unclassified staffs to enable them coop with family burdens.
b. Structuring the disparities in salaries, there are people who receives salary that could double 5 staffs’ salaries, this must be fought with courage, I’m going to cut some portion from Directors money to bridges the gaps among staff ‘’ He narrated’’. It couldn’t be fair for some to enjoy while others bear agony for no reasons while they are all staffs and citizens of this great nation ‘’ he further retreated’’.
c. Uprooting of corruption, the Managing Director exposed his planning to combat the corruption by all means. The private contracts and short cut access for money shall be extremely disobeyed and tackled lawfully. Those who have private contract while they staffs must declares that before me otherwise I won’t tolerate it all ‘’ he explained’’. On the other hand, Nile Petroleum Corporation must set up a true procurement process system to enable her protect currents assets. Those who are experts in field of procurement in the GOCs will be solicited to come back to HQRS for establishment of the procurement system. I hope from now on people will not bring to me a look-like Konyokonyo invoices, they won’t receive money through such fake invoices Bernard furiously told the gathering.
d. Incompetent staffs, according to his planning he will target those incompetent staffs particularly those who sit on big positions without income impact toward company growths will be replaced with competent ones. It is the time to do real business which is our sole goal. Nile Petroleum corporation is meant for maximizing the profit for the government a objective we all failed along to achieve. Me must ensure we bring enough income to government, he said.
e. Housekeep rules and regulation, the new MD warned seriously the gossipers and absentees if someone come to my office just to blackmail others then I will chase him or her out of the office, so please don’t come to my office with such purposes, just bring for me a good idea which will contribute toward the growth of the company Bernard explained. Stick to the office timetable or else come after working hours. Makes sure to deliver your duties as stipulated in the contract.
f. Grouping, the grouping has in fact affected the entire system of the corporation. By the way if bribery could keep people at work the former Managing Director Dr.Chol Deng Thon would have become lifetime Managing Director , so I will fight the culture of grouping in the company. We will treat ourselves as staffs but not group anymore.
g. Overemployment, the company was recently being compacted with overemployment. Most of these new employees just come in because they are relatives to former Managing Director. The connection comers and intruders means shall not be practised anymore during my tenure. If it happens to appoint my relatives unknowingly, please approach me personally and I will fire that person. People who were given contract when they are in the village must reports themselves to the workstation otherwise there will be consequences. those who were appointed when they are still students should know that they are not eligible and therefore must declare themselves to see how I could solve their issues.
With this great speech full of reform and rejuvenation, the entire staffs of Nile Petroleum Corporation have acknowledged and appreciate the hope returner Eng. Bernard Amour Makeny. Therefore, the new Managing Director should know that he has won staffs’ hearts and as such he should make sure to fulfil and achieve his promises at least by 60% if not all within the timeframe of 100 days he set forth, otherwise he is fully 100% welcome on Board by the entire staffs.

Some Public Figures within Twic Stabbed Commissioner from the Back

The news of Twic Commissioner being arrested come as sever surprise to all Twic sons and daughters across the globe. It has indeed upset the whole population because commissioner hasn’t caused any problem between Twic-Ngok, Twic and Ngok conflict exists since last 10 ten years. As the say goes that the enemy within is the most dangerous than the one outside the circle.

Immediately after commissioner was arrested one of the Twic MPs Hon. Goc Makuac Mayol was found celebrating the arrest. According to the eye witness Goc pleaded that Deng was gaining popularity and this could jeopardize their presence as politicians hailing from the same constituency with commissioner. On the same perspectives Goc called several people telling them his happiness according to his expressions on phone.

Based on later findings it was found that not only Goc but some other few individuals support the arrest. The motives according to one of the MPs who later deserted the camp, revealed that these group of politicians based their claim for boycotting community activities including the fundraising recently held to support the war victims in Twic due to the fact that the crisis Management committee has been hijacked by the opposition groups. According to them they are SPLM members and they should not joint the opposition figures in whatever they are doing, they are going to have their own move toward this crisis between Twic and Ngok “they expressed. Other sources within the community revealed that this group who called themselves to be SPLM members are committing a big mistakes as they have been influenced by Ngok friends to forsake the right of the community, and as such community has taken precautious measures to ensure the sale-move doesn’t succeed. The crisis Management committee was formed consolidated, and mandated by the entire community to tackle the humanitarian crisis afflicted on citizens at home. The committee is headed by a very veteran SPLM politician Dr.Majok Yak Majok plus other key members hailing as well from the SPLM, this refute their claim of hijack or whatsoever their claim may interprets. The worst part is that Hon.Goch and Hon. Deng Tong the commissioner comes from the family.

Therefore, the entire Twic population has strongly condemned whoever behind the arrest of the commissioner within the community. Hon. Deng Tong Goch must be released immediately.

Appeal to People of South Sudan

The Corruption of Dr.Chol Deng Thon is failing the only vital institution in South Sudan, Nile Petroleum.
In the modern composition of society and governance, people as one element is considered as highest powers holder and no other sub-powers in any form may supersede it. Other governance tiers for example Executive, Parliament and Judiciary all are subjugated to the helm of people. In the pretext of protecting the national course, People of South Sudan must monitor the public figures behaviors as such of Dr.Chol Deng. In the first tenure which had lasted for three years in the office, Chol spoiled the NILEPET to maximum level. It wasn’t felt by many because people were engaged with civil war and other regional issues. Huge loans were borrowed from GOCs and JVs working with NilePet which culminated into uninterrupted inconsistency of the work of the institution. Chol has received loan of 95, 000,000 USD from GOCs in which he interlaid an agreement for reimbursement at 65% leaving NILEPET with only 35% for monthly income. Thus, this lead to the amputation of NILE PET progress , the nevertheless, the former MD Bol Ring faced multiple hindrances as a result of these preplanned loots from Chol Deng. Last week Chol without previous shames requested all companies operating with NILEPET to supply NILEPET with advanced payment of amount of 200,000,000 USD. We must all watch this scenario so seriously.
All this amount in question went into his pocket, the buildings in Mahta Yei, Thongpiny , Nairobi house, Uganda house, Khartoum Arkuweet and Holland house are all constructed with NILEPET money. The company should sue him for this great embezzlement.
Secondly, Chol used the supposed income for people to bribe only few individual with assumption to aids him maintain his position. Millions of dollars meant for development of the institution ends up in few hands. The good example is NILEPET HQRs construction costed at 50,000 USD. The building up to now hasn’t finished while above mentioned 95 million was borrowed for its completion. The completed part of the building according to Director of project in NILEPET has up to this end cost only 18,000 USD paving the way question about where is the rest of money for this construction. Instead to embark on national vital schemes which gradually lead to improvement of South Sudan economy, the incumbent Managing Director was quarreling with staffs, plowing each against one another, however, this lead to the total establishment of hatred culture NILEPET.

Bol Ring for unclear reasons. Such bad behavior shown who Chol is. Despite our beloved President never ever thought of bringing him back , crooks when and made deal which lead to his reappointment. With maternal family culture of hatred in blood, Chol has been working day and night on how to remove those employees contracted during Bol time. The guy is too segregative and have no sense of responsibility at all. One of the accusation he kept propagating was on point that Bol had employed his relatives which was not real. Now, he implemented what Bol has never ever did against any South Sudanese citizen. He appointed only area relatives and in-laws. We strongly condemn with possible terms. Chol has never desist from his usual bad characters of ruddiness and segregations. We wonder how he is going to chase away those employed by Bol Ring while he appointed his family and relatives in a big quantity you have just seen in the list.

The Nepotism of Dr.Chol Deng is at peak in NILE PETROLUEM CORPORATION!!!

When this looter was relieved last year on 16/9/2020, many employees were so happy to the extent some women ululated and shunting in the air as they were celebrating the great relieve brought in by His excellent the president. The good three years Chol spent in his first tenure where like 300 years in hell for many staff except his sycophants. Those who got chances for employment all come from his home area particularly Padang in general and Ngok Lual Yak in particular. Chol at that time turned NILEPET into family entity exactly the way Riek is managing the SPLM-IO.
NOW in just few weeks in the office, Chol has revived his devil spirit of nepotisms and segregations. It is upon those who support to judge on impartial basis (no eye or heart of money) to see if the guy who they are adoring in reality. The below is the list of his relatives whom he just installed in less than the procedural period.

The scenario as we speak is still continuing so seriously, the question a wise person can ask is “what could be the motive behind replacing qualified cadres with less or even none academic certified personnel”? Perhaps answer will be different from each person to another, but for me, the motive behind is a normal corruption phenomena in the country where the slogan is “let us eat public resources silently together”.
Before Chol left the office last year, Nile Petroleum Corporation was indeed in coma. No health insurance was operating, this awful making of Chol has been attributed to Bol by Chol brownnosers which is not true. UAP insurance company is doing a great mess up in regard to the insurance system of the NILPET. The annual returns based on the agreement between Chol and UAP are divided between Chol and the company every year. So after three days from the time Chol was relieved from the office; he went and divided the annual returns on health insurance system with UAP. Chol has by far agreed with UAP to sabotage the cooperation with new MD Eng. Bol.
The current culture of politicization in the company was initiated by Chol himself…Chol is a very incompetent person people can’t imagine. During his first era Spies were recruited in all departments to spy on their own colleagues. Many personnel voices were secretly recorded and taken to him and which in the process countless staff suffered dismissals, suspensions and transfer to lower levels. Chol was driving NilePet like family entity and Junta system. Through his lack of respect Chol fought with many staffs as result of his bad behaviors.
Thirdly, Chol is a certified theft of our time, people should asked where did he take to, the advanced loan $ 95,000,000 that he received from GoCs companies in the pretext of HQRs building. This huge amount instead for going to the supposed purpose, Chol used it on personal necessities. He constructs his own several private building including big manson in Thongpiny, Tower in Facebook or Mahat Yei road , Mudiiria roundabout , Gurei, Holland, Uganda, Kenya and Khartoum. In addition, there are giant companies established through money of Nile Petroleum Corporation for personal benefits. Chol is enriching himself with public resources at the eye all South Sudanes. Some reliable sources, Chol is among few individuals playing negative role of fraud against the 2% oil percent belong to upper Nile State. The guy is full of sorrowful characters, during his previous tenure of the office he went into an affairs with two ladies who are officially married. As a result now these two ladies spoiled their marriage affairs because of him and his money. No good ethics to be ascribed to him rather he can be indeed described as man with a bad behaviors that are considered any society to be fundamental infringes.
With his bad intention to dismiss the workers and staffs appointed by former Bol, he should learn that the reform if any should be inclusive. This mean that all employees’ files review should go back as far as the time of company inception or particularly his era. Because during his first office tenure he employed almost 300 personnel of which most 90% of them lack academic credential. So for justice to take its course or what so called reform please start with your era employees otherwise segregating those under Bol alone will never help and will actually amount to constitutional infringe of rights which may solicit in countless negative consequences not limited to physical self-defend against law taken into hand by Chol. Chol should remember that the statement that oil comes from upper Nile which gives them upper hands in oil affairs is not true. Oil is a national resource like any other region in South Sudan national resources. The good example is the land of capital city rendered to all South Sudanese by Equatorians. On the other hand, those people of TwicMayardit and other regions in Bahr el Ghazal under your command attack on false basis also contributed a lot to this land freedom. Leave alone physical contribution but resources, Twic for instance as a community like any other South Sudanese communities contributed not less 3,000,000 Head of cattle to SPLM/A movement and most importantly not less than 200,000 soldiers through the era of the movement.
Without historical background they are South Sudanese under protection of the Constitution of South Sudan as amended 2011 and civil Services Act 2011 respectively. Therefore, any attempt out of these Laws will have consequences.
Our president should not cease his love to towards his people by allowing this culprit to exploit citizens in this institution of NILEPET. He shouldn’t allow one person interest over thousand people’s rights.
Chol must go or otherwise he will be held accountable for any bad consequences that are accumulating in as a result of his bad treatments against the rights of citizens of South Sudan.
If the leadership want to find out what people are saying true or not, I would suggest let them install suggestion box in Nile Petroleum Corporation offices. This mechanism will help sorting out biasness and will give in truths without fear among the staff. Or else let the system bring an Independent experts from outside to carry out true and inclusive reform of Nile Pet otherwise there is no wisdom for the Judge to be prosecutor and Adjudicator at the same time!!!!!
Our mighty Party SPLM under wise leadership of President Salva Kiir has to look into this issue urgently to rescue both, the collapse of the company and South Sudanese workers in Nile Petroleum Corporation from sharpest Jaws of Chol Deng Thon!!!!

NilePet Deputy H.R Director Emmanuel Majok Akucbeny is secretly working for the removal of Dr. Chol Deng in order to pay way for the appointment of Kuol Fidel as Managing Director

The Deputy Director for Human Resource Mr. Emmanuel Majok is the one influencing Dr. Chol Deng to terminate the contracts of all the staffs who were employed during the administration of former MD Eng Bol Ring in order for his group to use it as a charge against Chol in the office of President.

According to one of the Human Resource Staffs in NilePet who requested anonymity, Majok is secretly working for the replacement of Dr. Chol with Kuol Fidel. the unnamed staff said that Emmanuel Majok has managed to convince Dr. Chol Deng to terminate the contracts of the employees who were contracted by the former administration.
The logic behind his effort is to make sure that dismissed staffs go on strike so that the leadership use it as a charge against Dr. Chol Deng

Another source has revealed that Kuol Fidel and Emmanuel Majok had held a secret meeting with some of politicians from Warrap State particularly from Tonj Community and resolved to use their son Emmanuel Majok as a source of getting secrets from Dr. Chol's Administration. In the meeting, Kuol Fidel and the politicians from Tonj convinced Emmanuel Majok to influence Dr. Chol Deng to terminate the contracts of new employees so that they use it as charge against Chol in the office President.

Last week, the deputy human resource Director Emmanuel Majok sorted out the files of all the staffs who were contracted by the former administration. The separated files of the new employees will be cancelled on Monday and the dismissed staffs will likely go on strike which is the intention of Emmanuel Majok and Kuol Fidel.

Breaking News: NilePet Managing Director Dr. Chol Deng instructs Human Resource Director to terminate the contracts of the staffs who were employed under the administration of former Managing Director Eng.. Bol Ring

On Wednesday Date 3rd November 2021, the newly appointed Managing Director of Nile Petroleum Corporation Dr. Chol Deng Thon gave instructions to his newly appointed Human Resource Director Mr. Michael Wuot to sort out the files of the employees who signed contracts during Eng. Bol 's administration and immediately terminate their contracts in the pretext of " no vacancies".

HR Director Michael Wuot and his deputy Emmanuel Majook quickly implemented their boss order by sorting out the files of unwanted employees ( those who were employed by the former managing Director Eng. Bol Ring). for the past two days, Wednesday and Thursday, the office of Human Resource has become disorganized with files scattered all over the floor. Michael Wuot and his deputy Emmanuel Majook have silently started terminating the contracts of the Staffs who were contracted during the period of the former managing Director.

In another related development, Nile Petroleum Corporation Managing Director Dr. Chol Deng has instructed his newly appointed Finance Directt Abuluk Mayen not to pay salaries to the staffs who signed contracts during the former Managing Director Administration. Yesterday Thursday Date 4th November 2021, the finance director Mr. Abuluk Mayen delegated his deputy Peter Biel to go and pay the October Salaries to the old staffs who were employed before the appointment of the former Managing Director Eng. Bol Ring at Atlabara NilePet Branch.

Mr. Peter Biel came with the October Salaries to Atlabara and began giving out salaries. The employees who were employed during the former MD administration joined the line since they were unaware of the exclusion of their names from the payroll by Dr. Chol Deng. As Peter Biel started paying the October salaries to the old staffs, those who were contracted by the former administration discovered that their names were not in the payroll.

The excluded employees became frustrated and began strike by attempting to beat up Deputy Director for Finance Peter Biel. However, the police on duty rushed in to rescue Peter Biel from the hands of the excluded/ dismissed staffs. Peter Biel was taken away by Police and the payment immediately stopped. The tension remains very high at Nile Petroleum Corporation headquarters. The excluded / dismissed staffs are appealing to the high leadership particularly the presidency to intervene and either revoke Dr. Chol Deng's appointment or force him ( Dr. Chol) to reinstate them ( employees) before bloodshed.

The Return of Dr. Chol Deng to oil sector will be a curse to People of South Sudan!!!

Yesterday our president relieved people servant Eng. Bol Ring from the position of managing Director of Nile Petroleum Corporation the leading oil sector institution in the country. Our President act is normal as long as public office principles uphold are concerned. Change is a routine basis in any system. Unfortunately we employees of Nile Petroleum learned with great dismay the move of interests group pushing for Chol to come back to Nile Petroleum for second time.
Our brothers who are caricaturing behind him should know that Chol had harmed the institution ten times more than they could imagine. During his office instead for embarking on national development goals, he went as far as just serving cliques through continuous bribery and eat-together arena. Chol by far had indeed destroyed the institution in term of office necessities such as tea was not available, other important issues ranging from segregation amidst employees, cutting off of allowances, rampant corruptions in downstream department, some folks went away with trucks without accountability, s*x helm practices against our female employees and worryingly the jailing and killing of some staff in Nile Petroleum by Chol.
Our President, Chol did more harms than goods in the institution, he always bribed crooks who are very dirty in all aspects walk of life, and one example is Ring Deng Ajiing who is agent of s*x for payback practices. The living evidence now is Ring Deng Ajing has out-locked Affairs with married woman her name withheld for dignity reference. This woman husband has last week opened case against Ring in Mou Machoor’s court in Amarat, for those who want evidence please approach that court urgently and you will get the proceeds of the court, this is among other hundreds of prostitution works.
Our President, please note that Chol is a curse to oil sector for many reasons, Chol during his tenure in the office requested advance payment from GOCs companies of which he took $ 95,000,000 United States dollars and signed agreement for installments at 65% against Nile Pet institution dividends. This money went to his pocket alone. Chol now has many houses around the world, Holland, Khartoum, Nairobi, Uganda and Egypt. Here in Juba there multiple high buildings in Thongpiny, Facebook road or Mahata Yei Road, Mudiiria roundabout and Konyokonyo. This is beside to other joint ventures where he is a shareholder.
Chol has never ever did anything good to people of South Sudan including where he hailed from. Padang community for instant lost much respect on him for many reasons as some mentioned above. Despite of huge amount kept smuggling out of institution during his office, he never hand-in to the needy persons in community around him, his concern always lies with his cliques.
Our beloved president, we understood how much you struggled to fix this country since liberation up to the Independence time. You have been rescuing it from there and here. We believed that whenever you make change you meant to resuscitate any given department. But, the Relieve of Eng. Bol has been so far being pushed in by Chol’s cliques. We can assure you that Bol is a great servant we ever experienced in the Nile Petroleum corporation history. We are abide by the decree, but we want to appeal to you not to bring back Chol. If there is a need for reconstitution of formers then bring back our people servant Eng.Bol Ring Mourwel or else bring a new face. All employees of Nile Petroleum will go on strike should Chol manage to come back to NilePet….this is to protect our rights not to be abused by Chol for second time.
