Ladies, he is NOT showing love by controlling you. He is not ‘protecting’ you by controlling you. We have to learn the difference. You are a whole human being capable of making her own decisions.

No more letting “HATER ASS HUSBANDS/PARTNERS” as this thread so accurately calls them; dim our lights and halt our growth because they’re insecure.

We are reclaiming our power back this year!

It can be tempting to go all in and place a new partner on a pedestal above everyone else in your life but that is a fear based response. Often we do that because we believe it’s what’s expected of us and we end up loosing ourselves in the desperate bid to show this person that they mean everything to us. Should you really be putting someone you’ve i your recently just met above yourself even? Of course not. Healthy relationship aren’t fueled by anxiety or speed. Take your time. A partner who truly has your best interests at heart would not encourage you to neglect your friends and family for them.

Let’s start to re analyse how we navigate relationships and claim back our power so we can start to enjoy healthy trauma free loving relationships.

My personal fave is “She’s gotta have it” by Spike Lee. We loved the tv series on Netflix but loved the original black and white movie even more. I watched the movie first and Nola Darling was such a source of inspiration. I’d never seen a woman so openly own her sexuality like that before. It’s was beyond liberating and opened me up to another world of thinking and freedom.

If you see the condemning of violence and oppression towards women as hatred towards men instead of hatred towards oppression. You are essentially saying that to be a man is to be inherently oppressive towards women and we should accept it. We believe that men can be better and if they are not we don’t have to put up with it all in the name of unionising. Never give anybody the opportunity to hinder your quality of life because you are scared of being alone or you believe that is your role in society and that’s what you deserve. IT is a LIE. You deserve a peaceful blissful life where you are seen and respected as a whole autonomous human being.

We deserve to feel at home in our bodies. Even if you’re body isn’t as fit and healthy as you would like it to be. You can still love yourself whilst working to make your body the best version of itself.

Healthy eating and working out is something we should all aspire to for good health, irrespective of the physical appearance benefits. 🏋🏽‍♀️ 🏃🏽‍♀️🏊🏽‍♀️ 🥒🥕🍠

When your body is well nourished with healthy foods and you incorporate movement and exercise into your lifestyle- your body feels good and you’re creating an environment for your soul to be at peace and for you to operate at a higher frequency. 🧘🏽‍♀️

Love yourself through all your beautiful phases and incorporate healthy changes because you love yourself not because you want society to love you. You are worthy as you are.
