Ladies, friends, and fellow dreamers,
Today, I come before you as a passionate advocate for a powerful transformation in the way we view our aspirations and ambitions. It's time to break free from the confines of labeling our dreams as mere "side hustles."
Let's shatter the glass ceiling of self-doubt and limited expectations that society has placed upon us (and more importantly that we have placed upon ourselves!).
It's time to reclaim our desires for more - more money, more time, more freedom, and the chance to ignite our lives with purpose and impact. And make it the new normal, the new vernacular when we speak about women entrepreneurs.
We are not "side" things - we are the main dish, the main character in our lives. We will not take on a narrow role. We are multi-faceted, dynamic beings with a thirst for growth and achievement. Whether you're a mom, a professional, or someone navigating your unique journey, you deserve the opportunity to dream big and chase those dreams without hesitation.
And without having to shrink or add a label to your dream such as "side". Wanting to have your own business is not "just" a side hustle; it's a declaration of your passion, your worth, and your right to shape your destiny.
Why settle for a life that's simply "good enough"? We're here to reach for greatness. We're here to prove that we can be nurturing mothers, dedicated professionals, and fierce entrepreneurs, all in one incredible package. We can nurture our families, contribute to our communities, and still chase the bold visions that light our souls on fire.
So, let's call it what it truly is: our business. Our passion. Our journey. Let's remove the word "side" and replace it with "prime," because our dreams deserve prime real estate in our lives. Let's rewrite the narrative that says women must choose between family, career, and business ownership.
