he Mai Tai from in Cocoa Beach. Very good. Almond was present without being syrupy and there was a pleasant dark molasses/honey note to the rum. I was told the blend but unfortunately sipped that memory away.

The texture was almost "powdery". Not literally gritty, mind you, just indicative of cocoa powder.

The citrus and sweetness were well balanced which is a big plus for me as I don't like my drinks too sweet.

1oz Coruba
1oz PR Havana Club Anejo
1oz Plantation OFTD75 lime5 Donn’s Mix (1:1 grapefruit:cinnamon syrup)25 grenadine
6 drops pernod
2 dashes Angostura Bitters5 Falernum
1 cup crushed Ice

Blend for 5 seconds, open pour into a Zombie glass, fill with cubed ice. Paired with a Cromagnon Cigar.

I starred the cigar with Demerara 86 which really brought out the rich cocoa notes of the to***co. After switching to the Zombie the exotic notes of pernod, cinnamon mix, and dark rums highlighted anise, espresso, and warm spice in the cigar.

After the cigar the remainder of the Zombie paired well with ceiling fan, bamboo sheets, and shorkie puppy in the bed.

Puts me back in everytime I make one.

1.5 oz Aged White Rum
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice25 oz Cane Simple Syrup25 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
4 oz crushed ice

Blend on high for 30 seconds (wanna get a good frappe)

Open pour into coup, cocktail, or 10oz collins glass. (If using Collins wrap with napkin for grip)
