The book that’s been blowing up lately: I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy was so damn good you guys. I was able to get my hands on an audiobook before the book came out and I was blown away by Jennette’s vulnerability and brutal honesty throughout the whole book. I’m not always a fan of memoirs but when told in a way where you can feel author’s raw emotions, it’s so hard not to get pulled in. I can’t recommend this book enough as a way to see inside the life of a child actor in a world full of adults that didn’t always have her back and her story of fighting her way back to health and happiness. It’s so good. 📚🖤

Well.. Mumbles are happening and we’re thinking we are in a place to try and jump back into this thing! 🤯 Lots of time has passed and we have so much to catch you all up on. So.. when we sit down to record our intro back, do y’all have a preference on how that’s handled? 🎧 Do you prefer us to just jump in with ‘content’ or do you want us to sort of do a tell all of what’s been going on as of late and some of our upcoming plans? Also, if we were to try to establish a Patreon too - Is that still something of interest? We still have lots of ideas that we want to implement and that we’re excited to bring y’all! Mondays, am I right? 😴 It’s been such a busy day, such a busy start to a new month. Can y’all believe it is already August?! I cannot. 🤯 Time isn’t real anymore cause I can’t keep up. 😂 I hope you all had a great Monday and have an amazing August. Has it been a long week for anyone else? I am a tired gal ready for the weekend. 😴 Also, it’s still an oven in Oklahoma and I am still not built for this heat so I cannot begin to express how ready I am for cooler weather. Happy Friday, y’all! ☺️ It’s been a crazy, hot week here in Oklahoma, like I wish I was joking when I say it’s so hot it’s hard to breathe. 🥵 So, instead of venturing into the oven that is the outdoors I’ve continued staying indoors & taking my adventures through my books. This week’s was through listening to Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin which was definitely not my typical read but it was definitely what I needed! I think I got caught in a bit of a reading slump & on a whim decided to try something completely different to see if it would help pick me up and it totally did, I fell in love with this book so quickly! The slow burn story telling, the video game nostalgia, and the frustratingly beautiful way that the author portrays human relationships was just so good! I definitely recommend! 📚🖤

Happy Hump Day, y’all! I have to share a recent read with you! 😍🔪
The Appeal by Janice Hallett is a murder mystery that was so much fun to read & with it’s big cast of characters you definitely have plenty of suspects to parse through. As the reader you get to insert yourself into the story by going through emails, messages, and letters that help lead to the final answer and I love that type of mixed formatting while I’m reading to help mix it up a little. I hope you guys enjoy this one as well and if you’ve already read it, I would love to hear your thoughts! 🖤📚

Hi! We want to officially welcome you to our “new” page where I promise to try & update more! ☺️ While we aren’t currently podcasting, we do want to keep you all in the loop with what we’re up to at the moment (i.e. life updates, miscellaneous new content we’d like to share, etc). Plus sharing tons of recommendations on what we’ve been reading and watching lately along with photos of the pets because they’re the cutest cuties obviously! I hope for now that this will suffice as I attempt for some big stuff at work (fingers crossed!) and continue to deal with the headache of my health and our healthcare system. Remember we’re so grateful for each and every one of you and never stop searching for light. 🖤
