In the photo below, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu walks behind the casket of Nigeria’s late President and immediate predecessor, Retired General Muhammadu Buhari, as it arrives in Katsina, Northern Nigeria.

President Muhammadu Buhari, who served as Nigeria’s president from 2015 to 2023, passed away on 13 July 2025 in London at the age of 82, following a prolonged illness. His death marked the end of a significant era in Nigeria’s political history, during which he served two consecutive terms as the country's leader.

A state funeral was held on 15 July 2025 in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, attended by senior government officials, dignitaries, and members of the international community. In honour of the late president, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu declared a seven-day period of national mourning.

Criminal Paul Kagame’s Vanished Excuse: Why has Criminal Paul Kagame Not Tabled the Tutsi Marginalisation Issue in the Washington Agreement or the Ongoing Doha Discussions?

One key narrative that Criminal Paul Kagame consistently used to justify the invasion of the sovereign Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) was the alleged marginalisation and denial of rights to Tutsis in the DRC. However, in the recent Washington Agreement and Doha discussions, this issue was conspicuously omitted by Kagame and his delegation, it is no longer being raised by him or his team. The truth is, Kagame’s mineral wars in the DRC are solely about the plundering of natural resources; all other justifications are mere public relations strategies crafted to legitimise his exploitation and aggression.

A serious question must be asked: What became of the issue of Tutsi marginalisation in the Democratic Republic of Congo? Why is it that Criminal Paul Kagame and his associates have never brought this matter to the table, neither during the Washington peace agreement nor in the ongoing Doha discussions?

Has the issue mysteriously disappeared, or did it never truly exist in the first place?

This goes back to the point I have consistently raised since the outbreak of this mineral war in November 2021. This conflict is not about protecting any community. It is driven purely by Criminal Paul Kagame’s insatiable greed for the mineral wealth of the DRC. Every other narrative, whether framed as ethnic protection, security concerns, or historical grievances, is nothing more than a smokescreen to justify systematic looting and exploitation of DRC’s natural resources - mineral war.

Aimable Karasira’s Trial Highlights Suppression of Free Speech in Rwanda

Aimable Karasira, a former lecturer at the University of Rwanda and outspoken YouTube commentator, has been detained since May 2021 on multiple charges stemming from his public criticism of the Rwandan government. The charges include genocide denial and justification, incitement to public disorder, spreading divisive statements, hate speech against the government, illicit enrichment, money laundering, and failure to declare the source of his income.

Prosecutors have called for a 30 year prison sentence and fines amounting to Rwf 130 million (approximately $100,000), citing serious consequences from Karasira's online commentary. The prosecution has portrayed his remarks as harmful to national unity, particularly given Rwanda’s strict laws on genocide ideology and speech.

Karasira, however, maintains his innocence. He contends that his statements were misinterpreted and insists that he never intended to deny the 1994 genocide or incite division. His legal team also criticized the prosecution for introducing key evidence late in the trial, raising concerns over due process and procedural fairness. Aimable Karasira informed the court that he has never denied the Tutsi genocide, emphasizing that he is himself a Tutsi and a victim of the genocide.

Under duress, on the final day of his trial in July 2025, Karasira issued a formal apology in court, stating that he never intended to divide the nation or deny the genocide. He acknowledged the personal and national trauma caused by the 1994 events and clarified that his commentary was rooted in personal reflection, not hatred.

Human Rights Watch and the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) have raised alarm over Karasira’s treatment while in detention. Reports claim he was subjected to physical abuse, denied adequate medical care for diabetes and mental health issues, and held in harsh conditions involving sleep deprivation and prolonged exposure to light and noise.

The court is expected to deliver its verdict on 30 September 2025.

Karasira’s case underscores the increasingly repressive environment for free expression in Rwanda. With fabricated evidence, closed-door proceedings, and harsh penalties for dissent, the Kagame regime continues to use the judiciary as a tool to silence criticism. Under this climate, Rwanda’s path to democratic reform remains elusive, as voices like Karasira’s are punished, not heard.

After Doha Rounds I, II, III, and IV between M23/AFC and the Kinshasa government, the fifth round is off to a troubled start. M23/AFC has expressed strong dissatisfaction, accusing the Kinshasa government of the following:

1) Reinforcing military positions along the frontlines,

2) Deploying sophisticated weapons and drones to the conflict zones,

3) Arming the Wazalendo militia with drones,

4) Planning a large-scale military offensive,

5) Using Burundi as a channel to transport weapons to the frontlines, and

6) Sending a delegation to Doha without a clear mandate or authority to negotiate.

These accusations have cast a shadow over the prospects of meaningful progress in the ongoing peace talks.

Criminal Paul Kagame’s delusions of Grandeur to March 2000KM to Kinshasa, yet he has failed to march to Uvira.

The talkative, bloodthirsty terrorist of Rwanda boasted on July 4, 2025, before a gathering of state loyalists and foreign diplomats based in Kigali, that his forces could march 2,000 kilometers to Kinshasa to silence anyone who threatens him. He conveniently forgot that he had already attempted this route through the Kitona operation in 1998, which ended in failure. He tried again through RDF-backed RCD, and it too failed. Subsequent efforts through RDF-CNDP collapsed, and the first phase of RDF-M23 (Part One) was decisively crushed. Now, he is attempting it again through RDF-M23 Part Two, an equally doomed campaign that is already showing signs of collapse.

The deluded dictator still believes that the conditions which once enabled the removal of Mobutu are still in place. Back then, the RPA (now RDF), NRA (now UPDF), and other regional forces, including those from Burundi and Angola, played a significant role in the march to Kinshasa. Critically, the internal factor, the overwhelming discontent of the Congolese population with Mobutu’s regime, was instrumental in the success of that campaign. Today, however, both internal and external conditions have drastically changed and are no longer favorable.

Before boasting about marching 2,000 kilometers to Kinshasa, where is Paul Kagame’s much-touted plan to capture Uvira? It was supposed to fall in February, then March, then April, and again before the Washington peace agreement in June. Now it's July, and Kagame and his RDF-M23 militia have still failed to capture Uvira.

This world is plagued by political hypocrites and criminals. Floribert Bwana Chui, a courageous anti-corruption youth leader in Goma, was kidnapped and assassinated by Rwanda’s intelligence services for his unwavering stand against the smuggling of minerals from the DRC to Rwanda and cross-border illicit trade. Today, 8th July 2025, in a cruel display of irony, RDF-M23 terrorists, the very agents complicit in his murder, attended a memorial mass in Goma to honour the man they helped silence.

Among those in attendance was the former governor of South Kivu, Marcellin Chishambo, accompanied by senior figures of the RDF-M23 militia. Their presence at such a solemn occasion reflects the disturbing trend of criminals masquerading as mourners, rewriting history in full view of a wounded nation.

On 7 July 2007, Floribert Bwana Chui was abducted by Rwanda’s external intelligence operatives. On the morning of 9 July, his lifeless body was discovered, bearing signs of severe torture and beatings. He was murdered during the night of 8 to 9 July 2007, killed in hatred of his faith and the virtues he embodied, of charity, justice, and integrity. His death remains a symbol of the high cost of truth in a region gripped by impunity.

Criminal Paul Kagame’s Public Confession of RDF Presence in the DRC.

On July 4, 2025, before a carefully selected audience of regime loyalists, Rwanda’s diplomatic corps, and millions of oppressed Rwandans glued to state-controlled television, Criminal Paul Kagame made a chilling confession. In a bizarre twist of arrogance and denial, the bloodthirsty dictator finally admitted that his forces were behind the capture of Goma, Bukavu, and other parts of eastern DRC, a truth he and his regime have denied since November 2021.

For years, Rwanda’s strongman repeatedly claimed his country had no presence in Congo. Yet, in this televised display of bravado, Kagame blatantly contradicted his own narrative, boasting before a docile audience of conquests his government has long refuted. This was not just an admission, it was an insult to the victims of a decades-long war of aggression and plunder. Since 1996, Kagame’s direct and proxy wars in the DRC have caused the deaths of more than 12 million Congolese, an unhealed scar on Africa’s conscience.

To understand the depth of Kagame’s ruthlessness, one need only recall the cold-blooded elimination of his personal physician, Dr Emmanuel Gasakure, on February 25, 2015. Dr Gasakure, once entrusted with the dictator’s health, knew too much. His fate was sealed not in a courtroom, but through a direct order from Kagame himself. The ex*****on order was relayed by infamous death merchant Major General Jack Nziza to then Colonel, now Brigadier General, Franco Rutagengwa, known by his sinister alias “Mapuwa.” Dr Gasakure was gunned down under the guise of a security incident, but all Rwandans can confirm it was a calculated silencing, typical of Kagame’s method of disposing of those who come too close to his secrets.

This is the core of Kagame’s blood-soaked rule, where loyalty is expendable, and knowledge is a death sentence. Under his regime, even the most elite insiders, from intellectuals to top military personnel, have vanished, been imprisoned, or eliminated outright. The message is clear: no one is safe when Kagame’s dark secrets are at risk of exposure.

His regime thrives on fear, silence, and deception. The July 4, 2025, speech was not just a show of dominance, it was a masterclass in hypocrisy. A man who has ruled with an iron fist, silenced dissent, and destroyed lives now claims ownership of invasions he once vehemently denied. His obsession with the DRC is not merely strategic, it is pathological. The Congolese people, already battered by conflict and exploitation, continue to suffer under a campaign of violence driven by Kagame’s insatiable thirst for power and control.

In any just society, such admissions would trigger international outrage, sanctions, and justice. But in Kagame’s Rwanda, propaganda masks horror, and applause follows confessions of war crimes. As the world watches, one thing remains certain, so long as Kagame remains unchecked, truth, justice, and peace will continue to bleed in both Rwanda and the DRC.

Ignore the staged interview of 4th July 2025, where Criminal Paul Kagame appeared confused, overwhelmed, and visibly frail as he spoke to handpicked regime loyalists posing as journalists.

What deserves more attention is the speech he delivered later that evening to regime insiders and members of the diplomatic corps in Kigali. In that address, the dictator returned to his usual combative tone, aggrandizing himself and issuing threats, particularly aimed at the Democratic Republic of Congo.

At one point, Potato Enclave's brutal ruler, Criminal Paul Kagame noted, "You have often heard people claiming that they have the strength and capacity to threaten this capital (Kigali), even from a distance. We told them that we may not have the same capabilities ourselves, but we will make sure to find you wherever you may be. We have that capability—one you are unaware of.

We can march 2,000 kilometers from here while fighting, if and when necessary. The rest is just talk. Those people feeding you nonsense, claiming they have drones and will come to attack Rwanda, well, we will make sure to find you wherever you launch those drones from."

It is utterly absurd to hear a deranged, bloodthirsty dictator of a potato enclave (Rwanda), Criminal Paul Kagame, preaching about peaceful transitions of power and democracy. Criminal Kagame is the last person who should speak on elections or governance. Yet his obsession with the DRC remains unprecedented.

A short clip from the 4th July 2025 staged interview, where Criminal Paul Kagame sat down with regime goons dubbed as journalists. In the short clip, Criminal Paul Kagame narrating how President Joseph Kabila handed power to president Felix Tshisekedi.
