Col Ignace Tuyisenge: From Presidential Guard Officer to Overseer of Criminal Paul Kagame’s Kanombe Dungeons.

Col Ignace Tuyisenge, commander of Criminal Paul Kagame’s Military Police and chief supervisor of Kanombe Military Detention, which falls under his authority, is fully aware of the torture and brutal assassination of Col Tom Byabagamba.

Col Ignace Tuyisenge, once a good man, has been transformed into a dungeon warden.

A former presidential guard military officer, Col Ignace Tuyisenge served under Col Tom Byabagamba, who was his commander. What we witness in Col Tom Byabagamba’s case, was the dark art of former subordinates kidnapping, torturing, and eliminating those who once led them. Col Ignace Tuyisenge belongs to Jeannette Kagame’s (alias “Mama”) network of RDF officers born in Burundi. This network now controls a range of strategic positions across Rwanda.

Kanombe Military Detention, also known as Kanombe Military Prison or the Kanombe Barracks detention facility, is a military-run holding centre in Kigali. It is used primarily for RDF personnel, officers accused of disciplinary or security-related offences, and those regarded as critics or perceived critics of the regime. Former detainees and regime opponents describe the facility as hell on earth, particularly for individuals held on political grounds, as was the case with Col Tom Byabagamba.

Jeannette Kagame, James Kabarebe and Jack Nziza fabricated lies and fed Criminal Paul Kagame all sorts of s**t against Colonel Tom Byabagamba, until Rwanda’s brainless, bloodthirsty ruler believed their intrigues against a man they sought to push out of his inner circle. These satanic intrigues by the trio marked the beginning of a dirty road that led to Tom Byabagamba being expelled from the presidential guard, later sent to Sudan, then arrested, sentenced to 15 years by Criminal Paul Kagame’s kangaroo court, tortured and later eliminated.

At that time, Jeannette Kagame, James Kabarebe and Jack Nziza operated as an inseparable trio, unlike today, when Jeannette Kagame and James Kabarebe are both eyeing the highest office in the post-Kagame era.

Paul Kagame is a criminal and a serial bloodthirsty dictator.

On 25 February 2015, Kagame’s personal physician, Dr Emmanuel Gasakure, was eliminated by state operatives when he was shot in the head by Brigadier General Franco Rutagengwa alias Mapuwa. In the early hours of 25 August 2026, Kagame’s former head of the presidential guard, Colonel Byabagamba, died of multi-organ failure caused by poison while serving a 15-year prison sentence.

Colonel Tom Byabagamba was brutally eliminated by poison in the 12 year of his 15-year prison sentence. Before his death he endured a full week of agony without medical help, as criminal Paul Kagame's poison burned through his internal organs.

Under Criminal Paul Kagame’s bloodthirsty regime, knowing too much, especially his personal or state secrets, is extremely dangerous. Even top intellectuals haven’t been spared, all in the name of preserving Criminal Paul Kagame’s dark and dirty secrets.

Colonel Tom Byabagamba died in the early hours of 25 August 2026 after multi-organ failure while serving a 15 year sentence. His brother-in-law, Brigadier General Frank Rusagara, died in the early hours of 26 March 2025 of multi-organ failure while serving a 20 year prison sentence. Both were eliminated through poison.

Following the callous assassination of Colonel Tom Byabagamba, the former presidential guard commander who had been held for the past twelve years in Criminal Paul Kagame’s dungeon, the next prisoner on Kagame’s list to be eliminated by poison will be Major Habib Mudathiru.

Colonel Tom Byabagamba, Former Head of Kagame’s Presidential Guard, Dies of Poison in Criminal Paul Kagame’s Prison After Nearly 12 Years.

Colonel Tom Byabagamba, a veteran of the Rwanda Patriotic Front’s liberation struggle and former commander of Paul Kagame’s elite presidential guard, has died in prison after nearly twelve years in detention, his family announced on Tuesday, 25 August 2026.

Born in Uganda, Byabagamba was a veteran of the Rwandan Patriotic Front’s liberation struggle and served in Kagame’s personal protection detail from January 1991. He rose through the ranks of the post-genocide army and eventually became commander of Rwanda’s Presidential Guard, the specialised brigade responsible for protecting the president and key state installations. He headed Kagame’s presidential guard from late 2002 until 2010, when he was removed from the unit and ordered to report to army headquarters for further deployment.

He was later assigned to the United Nations peacekeeping mission in South Sudan. Upon his return to Rwanda in August 2014 he was arrested. He had therefore spent almost exactly twelve years in detention at the time of his death.Byabagamba was prosecuted alongside his brother-in-law, retired Brigadier General Frank Rusagara, who died in the early hours of 26 March 2025 after being poisoned.

In March 2016, Rwanda’s Military High Court convicted Byabagamba of offences including inciting insurrection, tarnishing the image of the government, concealing evidence, and contempt of the national flag. He was sentenced to 21 years in prison and stripped of his military rank and medals. The contempt charge stemmed from allegations that he had failed to show proper respect to the Rwandan flag while serving with the UN mission in South Sudan.

In December 2019 the Court of Appeal upheld the convictions but reduced the sentence to 15 years, ruling that the lower court had not justified imposing a term above the statutory maximum. Rwanda’s Defence Ministry subsequently stated that he faced additional military charges.The prosecution drew criticism from international human-rights organisations, which argued that the case rested largely on private remarks and criticism of government policy. Human Rights Watch reported serious allegations of torture and witness interference during the proceedings and condemned the Court of Appeal’s decision to uphold the convictions, describing it as a violation of freedom of expression. In 2017 the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention concluded that the detention of Byabagamba, Rusagara and another co-accused, Kabayiza, was arbitrary and called for their release and compensation.

Byabagamba’s death occurred before he had completed his reduced 15-year sentence. Like his brother-in-law Brigadier General Frank Rusagara, Colonel Byabagamba has also died as a result of poison administered to him while in prison.

What is up with Criminal Paul Kagame? Having not been seen in Rwanda for nearly a month, he abruptly postponed a cabinet meeting that was supposed to be held on Friday, 21 August 2026.

Currently, the enclave is being ruled through remote control by a tired and frail Criminal.

According to a long list of mental goons loyal to treacherous assassin Gen James Kabarebe, who, alongside their boss, have been sidelined by Criminal Paul Kagame, these individuals believe that Gen James Kabarebe will be the next president of the Potato enclave (Rwanda).

Gen James Kabarebe’s goons (networks) are convinced they will form the next government. James Kabarebe and his mental goons believe they will seize power through the back door.

Criminal Paul Kagame’s Aggression And The Asymmetric Use of Armed Drones in South Kivu, DRC.

In the early hours of 19 August 2026, two Bayraktar TB2 drones operated by the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) flew approximately 320 kilometres from bases in Rusizi District, Rwanda, to Fizi centre in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. According to Rwanda's intelligence assessments, the drones struck a hotel believed to be housing senior commanders of the Forces Armées de la République Démocratique du Congo (FARDC) and senior Burundian army officers. The attack forms part of a broader pattern of cross-border operations that critics describe as continued aggression by Rwanda’s Criminal ruler, Paul Kagame.

RDF acquired four Bayraktar TB2 drones in April 2026 and has since deployed them with notable effect in South Kivu region of DRC. These drones have supported RDF-M23 operations, particularly in the Minembwe–Fizi sector, where they have provided persistent surveillance and precision strike capability against Congolese and allied positions. The Turkish-made medium-altitude long-endurance platforms have extended Rwanda’s operational reach deep into DRC territory, enabling strikes that would otherwise require more visible conventional assets.

By contrast, the FARDC maintains a larger inventory of attack drones, six Chinese CH-4B systems and six Bayraktar TB2s, yet these aircraft remain largely idle. The last period in which FARDC attack drones were employed to meaningful effect occurred when Lieutenant General Patrick Masunzu still commanded the FARDC’s 3rd Defence Zone. Since his departure from that role, the fleet has seen little operational use and currently gathering dust. This disparity prompts a pointed question, were FARDC’s attack drones acquired primarily for appearance and political show rather than for sustained combat operations?

The 19 August strike on the hotel in Fizi centre illustrates both the reach of RDF drone operations and the vulnerability created by the relative inactivity of FARDC's drones. While the FARDC has publicly attributed similar recent attacks to Rwanda, the operational tempo and geographic range of the TB2 flights originating from Rusizi in Rwanda, underscore a clear asymmetry in the employment of unmanned combat aerial vehicles.

In the wider context of the conflict in eastern DRC, the effective integration of a modest number of Bayraktar TB2s by the RDF stands in stark contrast to the under-utilisation of a larger FARDC inventory. Whether this reflects differences in training, command culture, maintenance capacity, or political will, the practical result is the same, Rwanda's forces continue to project power across the border with comparatively limited resources, while DRC's attack drones remain grounded. The events of mid-August 2026 serve as a concrete demonstration of that imbalance.
