My happiest Audition memory is being able to give.
I’ve been playing Audition Dance Battle Online, now Audition Next Gen, since 2008. Since 2021, one of the things I’ve enjoyed the most is surprising random players with gifts whenever I can. It’s not as frequent now as it used to be, but whenever I have the chance, I still love doing it.
Some of my favorite memories aren’t from reaching Top 14 in 2021 or Top 17 in 2023—although I’m incredibly grateful for those milestones. I honestly never expected to reach those rankings, which made them even more meaningful. But looking back, what stayed with me the most weren’t the titles or achievements. It was seeing someone receive an unexpected gift, get genuinely excited, and appreciate a simple act of kindness, even if only for a moment.
For me, that’s what makes this game special. Being able to brighten someone’s day without expecting anything in return is a kind of happiness that’s hard to put into words.
