I gave up on my fitness and health goals for years, blaming lack of energy, no time, and really any excuse I could find. When I finally stuck with a plan the results amazed me. Set a small goal and work a little each day toward that goal - especially on the hard days. You can do it.

I’ve created a new family favorite and it’s so easy! Just had to share. Do you eat Ahi Tuna steaks and not know what to do with the leftovers? They always seem a little fishy for my taste. This time I cubed the rare, leftover, fish and sautéed it. After cooling - mixed it with Low-fat Greek Yogurt, dried dill and chives, and topped with a squeeze of lemon 🍋 Packed this delicious Gourmet Tuna Salad with edamame for a high protein lunch. 😋
What do you think? Would you try it? Leave me a Comment if you have other ideas for leftover tuna steaks. I would love to hear. AND please if you enjoy my content FOLLOW & LIKE

I’m testing out face taping to see if I notice a difference in my wrinkles. I was doing a test spot in this photo. and it worked. I had temporary smoothing. I’ve heard several people swear by it for a natural alternative to Botox. Just don’t forget you’re wearing it (like I did) when you get a video call. 😂

In my photo, I’m trying out Japanese Tape from who also offers lots of tips for using it.

Have you tried it? Let me now your thoughts in a comment. Thanks for checking out my post today. I truly appreciate you being here 🫶🏻 Please LIKE, COMMENT and FOLLOW if you enjoy my content.

I was asked for an update on how my curly style is going. In this photo I literally exited the shower, towel dried, lightly scrunched with curl cream and air dried- Went to bed, woke up and gently fluffed my hair. No brushing. Lightly texture sprayed. (If you would like to know the products I used - comment “hair”.) I still wear it straight too - but many more days are spent air drying with curls now. It’s taken a couple of months to train my hair. I have to say I didn’t realize just how much curl I had. It’s so nice to wash, scrunch with curl cream and go. I cannot believe I spent so many years & so much time styling my hair. Wearing this new style is quite liberating. Have you gone from straight to curls? Any curl tips? Please comment 🫶🏻 I never knew how to pull off curls., what products to use or the techniques to try. It’s so much easier than I thought. of course huge thanks have to go to my daughter for her input. And more thanks to my friend .bye.nicole for saving my damaged strands and encouraging me along the way. Stay tuned for more progess.

I promised to come back with my thoughts…with over 21k 4.7 star reviews - I agree, this was an easy, excellent read on actual past life accounts in psychiatric sessions. I’ve read several books on this topic, but found “Many Lives Many Masters” by Brian L. Weiss, M.D. to be an easy and compelling read. If you like this sort of thing, I highly recommend. You can find the book in the link on my story today and in my highlights under “Books”.

Goal Setting should never end! What do you think? “Like” this post if you agree that some sort of goals help us navigate life.

I have learned over my 52+ years that having a visual list of goals provides a sense of: purpose, direction & accomplishment in my life. These fundamental needs do not diminish with: age, our point in career, life or physical ability. Just setting the right mindset each year, week, day - can make all the difference in our overall outlook and emotional well being. To often (especially for aging moms) as we move through our busy or not so busy days we lose our focus on what is important, on our value to contribute, and on our place in life. This can create an environment of poor mental and physical health and a lack of self worth. I refuse to let aging or my life’s changes stop me from having goals. This year I found myself deeply retrospective.

Over the holidays I re-read 2 thought provoking books that facilitated my goal setting. “Journey of Souls” by Michael Newton, PH.D., was recommended to me years ago by a friend’s mom, in her late 70’s. (Actually on a New Year’s Eve). I have gone back to this book numerous times and find it extremely thought provoking. The 2nd book “The Seat of the Soul” by Gary Zukav is a NY Times best seller and was on Oprah’s list years ago. I have read it countless times. As an aging individual, I find the concept outlined in both reads to be compelling. You can find these books at the “Books” link in my highlights and at the link on my story today if the titles interest you. (I am an Amazon Influencer and do earn small commissions at no additional cost to you. ) At a minimum, no matter your age, I highly encourage you to set aside a little time each day for self-care: Read, workout, walk in nature, eat real foods - do the things that make you happy. Life is short 💕

Two of my holiday favorites are on HUGE Discount now. This beautiful red sweater is a luxurious staple to wear all winter, and the silky, satin jumpsuit is just perfect for a formal event. The deals are too good to miss. You can find these on my profile in my highlights under the “outfit inspo” button. You can also comment “holiday” and I will send you a link.

The jumpsuit runs loose. I am in an x-small and could probably have sized down to xx-small. It comes in 2 colors and is at a deep discount for Black Friday. I am an Amazon Influencer and do earn commissions.

Things not going according to plan? Give me a “like” if you’ve ever had a day where nothing is checked off of your to-do list ❤️Stress management is equally important for overall health as eating right and exercise. How we manage our daily aggrevations can have a tremendous impact on our overall health and longevity. I’ve come up with mindful techniques to visualize the problem going away. I do quick all over exrcises to release the tension; and I make sure to fuel my body with the healthiest of foods on these days. I’ve found for me it helps. Midlife comes with lots of stress at times - let’s manage it!

Give me a “like” if you’re looking for ways to improve your overall health and fitness. The best way, that I have found, to stay on track with food is to prep it ahead of time. I do this weekly on Sunday. This ensures my family has healthy grab and go options for all of our meals and snacks. Swipe thru my slides for more info. You can find my favorite meal prep dishes in my HIGHLIGHTS under DEALS. My go-to snacks are on my Amazon Storefront under food and food gadgets. Make sure to follow me if you want to see more of my midlife habits. #
