SANHS Hosts DFOT 2025

On November 18, 2025, San Antonio National High School proudly hosted the Delfin Albano District Festival of Talents (DFOT) 2025, bringing together students from various secondary schools to showcase their skills, creativity, and excellence. The event gathered a diverse group of talented learners who competed passionately across multiple categories.

All first-place winners will advance to represent the district in the Legislative District 1 Festival of Talents.

SANHS Holds Quarter 2 SPTA General Assembly

San Antonio National High School successfully held its Quarter 2 SPTA General Assembly on November 14, 2025 at 7:30 AM. The program opened with a prayer led by Ma'am Jesusa B. Jose, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem led by Ma'am Aubrey U. Macaballug. Ma'am Janale P. Acirit facilitated the roll call to formally begin the assembly.

Meanwhile, Sir Vicente P. Ramel, PhD, delivered the welcome remarks, expressing gratitude for the continuous support of parents and teachers. Messages were also shared by Hon. Fortune Celeste T. Gabriel, Brgy. Captain of San Antonio, Delfin Albano, Mrs. Rowella I. Esguerra, SPTA President and Dr. Ferdinand V. Cuaresma, Principal IV, highlighted the importance of strong cooperation between the school and the community.

Furthermore, Ma'am Jacqueline B. Anchola, HT-II, presented the Second Quarter Accomplishment Report, showcasing the school’s progress and activities for the quarter. Important plans and projects were also discussed, including authorized contributions, the hosting of the Nueva Vizcaya RSPC Delegation, the DLC and Antonian Bravo Movers, and preparations for the 58th SANHS Founding Anniversary featuring the Popularity and Fashionista contests and raffle tickets.

A special highlight of the program was the Recognition of the Second Quarter Awardees, honoring outstanding students and supportive parents for their achievements and contributions. These recognitions celebrated academic excellence, leadership, and active involvement in school programs. The assembly concluded with a meet-and-greet session, giving teachers and parents time to connect. The entire program was smoothly hosted by Ms. Annalyn T. Aggabao, who served as the Master of Ceremony.

RHU Delfin Albano Launches “Project TeenTalk” at SANHS

The Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Delfin Albano organized a symposium at San Antonio National High School on November 5, 2025, highlighting the launch of their Project TeenTalk Advocacy Campaign.

The campaign addressed important topics such as mental health awareness, the prevention of STIs and HIV/AIDS, the dangers of smoking and va**ng, road safety, and responsible behavior.

Free HIV testing was also offered to students who volunteered. Kyle Ivan Cubangbang shared why he decided to take the test, saying, “Nagpa-test ako para malaman ko kung may HIV ako. Gusto kong siguraduhin na kapag nag-asawa ako, hindi ko siya mahahawaan,” he said.

The event encouraged students to stay informed, make responsible choices, and always “think first before you do it.”

𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤-𝐭𝐨-𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝟑–𝟎 𝐖𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐢

The crowd erupted in cheers as Delfin Albano once again proved their dominance in the LD1 football meet after defeating Tumauini with a clean 3–0 score. The victory marks their back-to-back championship title, continuing their impressive 13-game winning streak that showcases their skill, teamwork, and dedication.

From the start of the game, Delfin Albano showed strong control and focus, keeping Tumauini from scoring while taking every chance to widen their lead. Their teamwork and strategy stood out, making it clear why they remain one of the most consistent teams on the field.

The players’ hard work paid off as they celebrated another memorable win. Each goal reflected not only their preparation but also their desire to defend their title and represent their team with pride.

“Masaya kasi nag champ kami ulit at back-to-back tas tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang 13-win streak ng Delfin Albano, malalakas din sila at lumaban kaming patas,” shared Nowitzki Medrano, the team’s captain ball, expressing both joy and respect for their opponents.

Meanwhile, fellow captain ball Jomari Allam shared his thoughts after the game, saying, “Nahirapan kami, malakas sila. More improvement pa para next year. Masaya naman kasi nakarating kami dito sa area.” His words showed humility and determination to continue improving despite the win.

With this victory, Delfin Albano once again stood tall as champions — a team built on unity, hard work, and passion for the sport. Their back-to-back success and unstoppable streak continue to inspire pride among their school, supporters, and leaders, including PSDS Sir Arnel G. Madriaga, who expressed pride in the team’s outstanding achievement.

Excitement filled the field as Tumauini and Maconacon faced off in a close and action-packed softball game. Both teams showed great skill and determination, keeping the score tight from start to finish.

Tumauini fought hard throughout the match, answering every play made by Maconacon. In the final inning, their teamwork and focus paid off as they took the lead with a key run that sealed their win.

The game ended with Tumauini claiming a thrilling 12–11 victory. Their strong performance and never-give-up attitude made it a match to remember for both teams and supporters alike.

"Mainit ang laban, lalo na noong last inning, kasi nahabol nila kami — 11-11 ang score. Then kami na ang huling nag-bat dahil last inning na iyon, eh naka-uwi ako sa home plate at nakapag-score kami ng isa, kaya kami ang nanalo" Miky Licquo said, a player from municipality of Tumauini.

The baseball field came alive as Divilacan faced Tumauini in a thrilling LD1 match. From the first inning, Divilacan showed strong control and teamwork, taking an early lead that set the tone for the entire game.

Tumauini tried to fight back but struggled to break through Divilacan’s solid defense and powerful pitching. The Divilacan players remained focused, delivering consistent hits and smart plays that widened the gap as the game went on.

In the end, Divilacan sealed an outstanding 10–0 victory, proving their dominance on the field. Their teamwork and determination earned them a well-deserved win and boosted their confidence for the next game.

SANHS hosts LD1 Science Fair

San Antonio National High School hosted the Legislative District 1 (LD1) Science Fair lead by
Dr. Ferdinand V. Cuaresma, Principal IV of SANHS.

Meanwhile, Sir Arnel G. Madriaga, District Supervisor of Delfin Albano inspired the participants by giving his words of encouragement and challenge, which was wholeheartedly accepted by the participants from various schools in LD1.

It was a good combination of fun and educational, as participants were able to showcased their skills and passion for science.

One part of the fair was the Sci-Dama notation, a science related activity, organized for students in grades 7 to 10. Where the contestants showed their skills and knowledge while playing the science board game.

Another part of the fair was the exhibiting of inventions, where they were able to display their inventive projects and ideas. The innovative ideas featured how creative students in our district are and how they can do something useful with science.

Another event was the students presentation of science investigatory projects, this is where students shared the work and experiments they have been doing and presented their findings.

This activity flaunted valuable time and energy participants put forth to complete their individual projects and share them with others, hopefully inspiring others to pursue similar projects.

The 2025 LD1 Science Fair was a great success as it engaged students to further pursue and investigate science. It was truly a remarkable day for everyone who have participated.

House of Arryn, Namayagpag sa Volleyball Girls

Pinatunayan ng House of Arryn na hindi sila magpapatalo matapos makuha ang kampeonato sa isang mainit na sagupaan sa volleyball. Sa kabila ng matinding palitan ng puntos, nanaig pa rin ang kanilang disiplina at tapang hanggang sa huling bahagi ng laban.

Ayon sa kanilang Captain na si Jiezelle Lime, halo-halong emosyon ang kanyang naramdaman matapos ang tagumpay. “Dahil nanalo kami at ‘yung akala namin na matatalo na kami, doon kami kinabahan. Pero masaya kami noong nanalo kami,” aniya habang inaalala ang matinding tensyon sa laban.

Sa huli, dala ng determinasyon at pagkakaisa, matagumpay na naiangat ng Arryn ang kanilang pangalan bilang kampeon—isang patunay na sa puso ng mga tunay na mandirigma, “Madi nga agpaabak.”
