According to there are currently around 190,000 people waiting for an autism diagnosis. This data shows one of the many challenges neurodiverse people go through.

Every mental health journey begins with the right diagnosis, and as seen on the numbers presented by NHS, this first step isn't always easy. But as difficult as it may seem, it's extremely important to get the right help and avoid autodiagnosis or automedication.

Remember, and having conversations around it can encourage us to take the first step.

Eating Disorders Awareness Week is an annual event, from February 26th to March 3rd, dedicated to raising awareness about eating disorders and shedding light on the complexities of these serious conditions which impact mental health.
