⭕ Nikh Kamin MLA Attends Teacher’s Day Celebration at Singpho Heritage Centre, Bordumusa
MLA Nikh Kamin attended the Teacher’s Day programme held at the Singpho Heritage Centre in Bordumsa, where he joined the district administration in felicitating meritorious students who excelled in recent examinations.
Addressing the gathering, Nikh Kamin reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the education sector in his constituency, calling it one of his top priorities. He assured teachers of his full support in their efforts to nurture the next generation with knowledge, wisdom, and values.
As part of his commitment to cultural preservation, the MLA announced a financial package of ₹10 lakhs to the Singpho Development Society for the renovation of the Singpho Heritage Centre. “The Centre represents the pride and identity of the Singpho people, not only within the constituency but across the region,” he stated.
During his address, he also underlined the significance of flagship government schemes such as Unnati, which focuses on empowering youth through skill development and entrepreneurship. He added that several development initiatives are in the pipeline to transform Bordumsa and Diyun into models of progress in the state.
“Development is not the responsibility of the government alone. It requires collective effort, people’s participation, and cooperation to achieve the vision of growth and prosperity,” Kamin emphasized.
The programme witnessed active participation from teachers, students, community leaders, and members of the district administration.
