Interested in fostering, but don’t have the time? Think again!
We are rolling out a new initiative for short-term dog fostering: Rovernights! This program allows eligible medium to large dogs (read:40+lbs) the opportunity to get a break from shelter life by going on an overnight vacation. Foster for as little as one night to as long as 3 days. Can’t get enough of the pup? Maybe consider changing to a long term foster or make things permanent and adopt!
By fostering for even a short time, you could help a shelter dog get adopted. Time away from the shelter helps dogs decompress, bolsters their adoption biographies, and allows them to practice skills in the real world.
Rovernights is a free program, we will send you with all the supplies your foster pup needs. Per state law, a home inspection is required for first time fosters with us. We are specifically looking to start this initiative with homes within 30 minutes of the shelter (545 Route 101, Bedford, NH).
