Did you know that Steinway Tower, considered the thinnest skyscraper in the world, also known as 111 West 57th Street, is a residential skyscraper in New York? Located on 'Billionaire’s Row' near Central Park, it is 435 meters tall and only 18 meters wide, giving it a record-breaking slenderness ratio.

The building, designed by SHoP Architects and completed in 2021, combines modern elements with Art Deco details, reflecting the aesthetic of the historic Steinway Hall, which occupies the base of the skyscraper. It has 84 floors and houses luxury apartments with spectacular views of the city and the park.

Steinway Tower has become a symbol of modern supertall architecture (extremely tall skyscrapers) and is an example of how engineering has evolved to allow construction in tight urban spaces.

Hello all!
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your prayers and words of encouragement. My wife and I are blown away by your kindness and thank God for each of you. We are humbled and honored to be used by God in ministry.

Why am I going to Birmingham? It's a question I asked myself many times, but the answer became clear in a moment of divine intervention that left me breathless and convinced.

I had been searching for a sense of direction, feeling like a unsure about the future….But little did I know, God was about to reveal His plan in a powerful way.

How Did All of This Get Started?

During a conversation with Pastor Steve Dixon at Christian Life Cathedral, he asked me about my ministry future. He inquired, "Have you ever thought about becoming a senior pastor?" I reflected on this question, thinking about my past aspirations, and responded, "Yes, I considered it many years ago, but I had put that behind me, thinking it was no longer a possibility."

However, Pastor Dixon shared that Pastor Randy Williams, who is looking to retire, had been thinking of me to take over his role. Although I was initially hesitant, I began to sense that God might be opening a new door for me.

Subsequent conversations with Pastor Randy Williams further confirmed this sense. Each time, I prayed, asking the Lord, "What do you have for us?" It became increasingly clear that God was leading me towards this new opportunity.

A Final Confirmation from God

As I prayed about it, I received a series of confirmations. I was driving home from a meeting, my mind fixed on avoiding Birmingham at all costs. But God had other plans, and He wasn't going to let me ignore them. As I approached the end of the road, I slowed to a stop and looked up, and that's when I saw it - a sign that seemed to pierce the sky and shout at me: "Birmingham Ave." I felt a shiver run down my spine as I stared at the sign, my heart racing with a mix of fear and excitement.

It was as if God was screaming at me, "This is the way! This is where I want you to go!" I couldn't believe it. I felt like I was staring into the face of destiny.

Believe

What does it mean to truly believe in Jesus? Is it halfway believing or all-in trust? I'm being challenged to trust Jesus completely, and God is proving Himself over and over again. He's showing me that:

•He is faithful (1 Corinthians 10:13)

•He is true (Psalm 100:5)

•He is an on-time God (Romans 8:28)
•He provides (Philippians 4:13)

•He heals (Matthew 11:28)

•He gives wisdom (Proverbs 3:5-6)

•He opens doors (Hebrews 11:6)

•He is patient (Psalm 100:5)

•He saves (Zachariah 3:17)

God wants to do more in our lives than just be a last-minute rescue. He desires to commune with us, demonstrate His love, and meet us in everyday moments. He never fails; He wants to reveal Himself to us in every opportunity, no matter how small. Let's choose to believe and trust Him fully! God transforms our lives when we do.

Some encouraging verses to remember:

•Romans 8:28 - God works for our good in all things

•Matthew 11:28 - God gives rest to the weary
