A (alarmingly!!) long time ago now I met Double O at an AKO night in Brum. I'd gone on my ones and it was my first ever PROPER jungle night, after finding out about modern jungle from Stretch at a Manchester warehouse party. Double O told me about the label he co-ran called Rupture. When i got home I listened to every single release and watched all the interviews I could find. The music was just ME and it just totally made sense, was as if it was what I'd been looking for in music. When I went to my first rupture night, i had never been anywhere where I felt so at home straight away. There was such a diverse range of ppl and everyone so welcoming. The music was such a rush and the time spent there went so quick!! I met threshold there , who encouraged me to start producing again, which idk if I would have done other wise. DJ mantra quickly became the person who was the biggest inspiration 2 me.

The next few years , getting the Megabus down after uni and then back up at 8am was always the absolute highlights of my year. I got sooooo much more confidence from doin a lot of traveling about and meeting new ppl (even my family was commenting on how much more confident I had become after making these trips down.) I've bin feelin much more social anxious-ness again recently and I legit attribute that to not bein able to make my solo jungle trips as much anymore!!!!

Anyway this is an extremely long winded way 2 say that ofc is means SO much 2 me 2 be picked as a mentee for the mentorship scheme. UNBELIEVABLEY gassed 2 be learnin alongside some other mad mad talented womxn

i was invited to recorded a mix for the amazing (thanks for the invite!! 🥰 ###) at a slower BPM than what I would usually play ( SC link & tracklist below),so I recorded a mix from 145 to 130 BPM with grime, electro,dubstep,breaks and idm 🐡I wanted 2 keep the kind of vibe of the mix the same as my first (170) vykhod one so there's a lot of emotional 'come up' kind of tunes in there as well as dark heavy hitterz 💥thanks 2 everyone who has listened already, I proper appreciate it, an I hope anyone who listens enjoys it despite some questionable blends in there hahaha ❤️
