"Nothing short of immaculate and intricate, Ghosts of the Great Highway is a masterpiece from Mark Kozelek of Red House Painters fame. I read a comment that wrote 'i'm always afraid i'll unconsciously kill myself when "duk koo kim's" on since i can't imagine listening to something so beautiful without wanting to die to it.' –– each song makes you want to wither so tenderly. There are albums to listen to when you want to feel heavy, and there are albums that make your body feel weightless. Mark sings of killers and adultery, of guitarists and mourned boxers in elegaic ode. Suddenly you are everyone."
