The seventh day is a mark of God’s authority. “Remember it,” He said, “to keep it holy” (Ex. 20:8). By doing so, we show that we recognize Him as the Creator, as the King of the universe, and as our Redeemer. In ourselves, we may not be able to keep it as we should (John 15:5), but when His love fills our hearts, joyful obedience will be its fruit (John 14:15).

Det er lett å gå i kirken, synge salmer og takk for livets gode gaver, men kjenner vi egentlig Gud? Det er lett å si at vi elsker Gud, men setter vi ham alltid først? Den kristne vandring handler ikke om å se mirakler, men om en relasjon. Det starter med overgivelse. Hver dag. Gjennom bønn kan vi åpne hjertet for Gud som for en venn, og gjennom sitt ord, taler han til oss. «Dette er det evige liv, at de kjenner deg, den eneste sanne Gud, og ham du utsendte, Jesus Kristus.» (Joh. 17, 3).

As soon as there was sin, there was a Savior. This was God’s promise to the first humans when they had to leave Eden. But when would He come? In the 6th century BC, God revealed the time. The prophecy about the “70 weeks” (Dan. 9:24) gave a detailed timeline for the coming of the Messiah, his mission on earth, his death during Passover, and the immediate years thereafter.

God is love, and He created this world with love. When humans rebelled, He still loved them. And as soon as there was sin, there was also a Savior. For centuries, God tried to inform, explain, and remind humanity about the plan of salvation and the Savior who would one day come. Before writing was common, He pointed to the night sky: The stars and the constellations were given names that told a story. This film shows what it was about.

God, the Creator of the universe, loved this little planet so much that he GAVE his only son so that we could have hope, peace, and eternal life. Despite our selfishness and our sometimes cruel way of treating each other, God still loves us. He GAVE his son to us and for us, so that we can be forgiven and experience a changed heart. Nothing can separate us from God’s love if we accept his gift.
