The Coronavirus’ Virus has Been Around for a While

The Coronavirus has been around probably for a while. People use to catch a common cold then get worse and die from pneumonia. Cancer has been around since Egyptian times, which was 5,000 years ago. Recorded history is roughly 5,000 years around 3000 B.C. The Coronavirus was discovered in the mid-1960s. Technology from the 1960s made it possible to know about the virus.
It had to have been around longer because of the early stone age peoples would hunt for wild game. That’s how Coronavirus spread by eating wild game (bats).
Coronaviruses are transmitted between animals and people, which is a zoonotic disease. Other types of Zoonotic diseases: can be caused by bacteria, fungi, and parasites. Common signs of infections include: respiratory symptoms, cough, shortness of breath, fever, and breathing difficulties breathing. In more severe cases an infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), kidney failure, and even death.
In 2003 terrorists were threatening to use SARS, which also originated from China.
COVID-19 known cases are now 156,730. There is a 5,839 death toll from the outbreak. Pneumonia is the most common cause of hospital admission other than women giving birth. There are 314 million Americans and 1 million adults seek care at a hospital. From those 1 million, there are 50,000 deaths from this disease. Pneumonia accounts for 16% of all deaths of children under the age of 5 years old.
