Come through and say hello, and pick up a copy of The Rebirth of a Phoenix if you haven't already 😊 Register on their website (the link will also be posted in my stories), and then come meet some local indie authors and publishers!

Where will she be next? Well at The Book Out, of course! Excited to announce my participation in this very cool, grown up scholastic book fair (not the official description, just how I have been imagining it lol)—aka a new curated experience to connect readers with indie authors and publishers!! Come check it out at the Pratt-Pullman Yard on October 22nd!! 🤗

Y’all these events have been so much fun, especially meeting new folks who are interested in my story! Can’t wait to meet more of y’all there!

Remember that save the date? 😉 Well surprise! Next Saturday I have the pleasure of doing a poetry reading and book signing at , one of our local Black-owned bookstores in Atlanta (and right across the street from my school at that!). If you’re in the Atlanta area next Saturday afternoon, come through! You’ll get to hear from my book, ponder topics of mental illness and survivorship, and purchase signed copies of my debut collection 🫶🏾

I know I mentioned another event later this month (more details still forthcoming)but I wanted to announce that I will be vending at the on Saturday September 10th (this Saturday!!) from 10am to 6pm💃🏾 This will be an opportunity to learn more about being a business owner as a BIPOC woman in business AND see some of the amazing products and services offered 🤩 Can’t wait and hope to see some of you there—check my story for a link to the website for tickets

Late to post this but this was from the 1st Open Mic held at ! Had a great time getting to perform “Can You See?” for the crowd, plus met a lot of amazing poets and performers from the community. Sold a couple books, got a couple books—overall a great experience! 🫶🏾
