JJ林俊傑2023全新專輯《重拾_快樂》即將於4月21日要正式上線！出道20週年，這張專輯意義深重，特地邀請到了知名藝術家簡明為此次專輯封面操刀。兩人擅長以敏銳的觸覺，透過各自的在音樂、視覺藝術的領域，體現人生百態。

此次視覺展現，靈感源自卡斯帕·大衛·弗里德里希浪漫主義風景畫。簡明此前細心聆聽JJ《重拾_快樂》的歌曲以及20年來的心路歷程，並以其細膩的畫風及配色，為專輯封面執筆。畫中的兩個人物其實是同一個人，莫比烏斯帶纏繞著過去與未來的自己，旨在通過獨自邁向崇高的旅程，喚起內省感受的寫照。

Happily, Painfully After. 20年，是一種圓滿，也是一種展望。你準備好重新發現自己了嗎？

JJ Lin’s new album “Happily, Painfully After” will be launching on April 21st, 2023! An album to commemorate his milestone 20th year since his musical debut, this album holds deep significance for JJ, hence he has invited acclaimed artist James Jean to collaborate on the album cover artwork, a crossover of visual and musical dimensions, celebrating their creative universes.

The landscape is inspired by the Romantic landscape paintings of Casper David Friedrich. The artwork is a reflection of the 20 years of JJ’s “music voyage” and life journey, crafted specially for the new album entitled, “Happily, Painfully After”.

The concept : The two figures on the album cover are the same person, connected by a möbius strip. One character represents his own perception of his past self, and the other his perception of future self. The two are linked - the future self is reaching for the sky but is limited by the memories of the past. The past is searching for resolution, being guided and pulled by the ambition of the future self.

Happily, Painfully After. 20 years is like a completion of a journey, yet full of hope for a new start. Are you ready to rediscover a brand new you?
