Based in Indianapolis, Ashley R. Smith is a dynamic portraiture artist specializing in acrylic and digital illustration. Her artistic journey ignited in Venice, Italy, at 21, where she discovered her passion for painting. With each brushstroke, Ashley weaves together simplicity and complexity, using vibrant colors to convey the spectrum of human emotion.
In 2015, she founded the Young Black Artists (YBA) movement to empower creatives of African descent, providing a platform for exposure and community. With her work featured on major platforms like HypeBeast and Hulu, Ashley continues to inspire through her art and her journey as a Senior Experience Designer in tech.
