*SSP बेनाम तोष ने SKPA ऊधुमपुर में आयोजित भव्य एकता दिवस परेड में सात सौ पुलिस अधिकारियों को राष्ट्रीय एकता शपथ दिलाई*

ऊधुमपुर : शेर-ए- कश्मीर पुलिस अकादमी ऊधुमपुर में भव्य एकता दिवस परेड का आयोजन किया गया यहाँ पर एसएसपी बेनाम तोष ने सात सौ पुलिस अधिकारियों को राष्ट्रीय एकता ,अखंडता एवं सुरक्षा की प्रतिज्ञा दिलाई और शोभायमान परेड की सलामी ली ।

सरदार बल्लभभाई पटेल जी की जयंती पर जम्मू-कश्मीर की सबसे बड़ी पुलिस अकादमी में आयोजित इस भव्य परेड में घुड़सवारों की सलामी आकर्षण का केंद्र बनीं। अधिकारियों की विभिन्न टुकडियों ने परेड में राष्ट्रीय एकता के ज़ज्बे से भाग लेकर शानदार प्रदर्शन किया । परेड में महिला अधिकारियों ने भी उत्साहपूर्ण प्रदर्शन किया।

इस अवसर पर डिप्टी डायरेक्टर वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक बेनाम तोष ने कहा कि सरदार बल्लभ भाई पटेल जी का वर्तमान भारत के एकीकरण, एकता एवं अखंडता में ऐतिहासिक योगदान रहा है जिस को जन-जन तक पहुँचाना और जनता में एकता, अखंडता ,सुरक्षा और राष्ट्रीयता की भावना को दृढ़ करना हमारा मौलिक कर्त्तव्य है।

*NEW CRIMINAL LAWS EXHIBITION ORGANISED BY CRIME BRANCH CONCLUDED AT JAMMU, OVER TEN THOUSAND PARTICIPATED;*

*Special Secretary Home attended closing ceremony, visited stalls & gave away momentos*

Jammu, Sept 24: Three-day mega exhibition on new criminal laws organized by EOW Crime Branch Jammu concluded today with a grand closing ceremony where Special Secretary Home J&K UT , Ranjit Singh was present as the chief guest .

Over ten thousand persons from all walks of life including students, scholars, educationists, experts, probationary officers and knowledge-seeker officials of different departments participated in three days in the highly educative exhibition on NCL held first time at Jammu on the directions of MHA, Government of India and under the supervision of DGP J&K Nalin Prabhat IPS & IGP Crime J&K Sujit Kumar Singh IPS.

Special Secretary Home, Ranjit Singh in his address said that not only the implementing agencies, but also the people should be sensitized about the new criminal laws. Colonial laws have now been replaced with new criminal laws with the objective to give justice to the victims without inordinate delay and to bring perpetrators of crime to book using digital evidence in addition to documentary & oral evidence. Such kind of exhibitions would be organized at district levels as well . He appreciated the role of Crime Branch for organising a mega exhibition in which all agencies concerned with implementation of new criminal laws on ground displayed their stalls showcasing their functioning & achievements.

SSP Benam Tosh, the nodal officer, has thanked the people, heads of schools, colleges, universities, media and sister agencies for providing full support to make this big event a great success.

Public is showering praises upon the government and police for organizing large scale informative exhibition.

Special guests present on the occasion, who were honoured by the chief guest included Deputy Director FSL Dr. Kumar Sourabh, Chief Prosecuting Officer Manmohit Sharma, Medical Officer SDH RS Pura Dr. Neha Manawar, Medical Officer SDH Bishnah Dr. Neetika Bharti, Medical Officer SDH Bishnah Dr. Faizan Choudhary, Principal Shauraya International School Dr. Swati Kapoor, SP South Jammu Ajay Sharma, Crime Record Bureau head Ms Sunnya Wani , SDPO East Sheezan Bhat and SHO Women Police Station Jammu Arti Thakur.

*DGP J&K NALIN PRABHAT IPS INAUGURATES 3-DAY MEGA EXHIBITION ON NEW CRIMINAL LAWS AT JAMMU*

Jammu, Sept 22:- Director General of Police J&K, Nalin Prabhat IPS inaugurated three-day mega exhibition on new criminal laws organized by EOW Crime Branch Jammu on the directions of MHA, Government of India at Gulshan Ground Jammu.

The DGP J&K was the chief guest on the occasion and ADGP Armed J&K Anand Jain IPS, IGP Jammu zone Bhim Sen Tuti IPS, IGP Crime J&K Sujit Kumar Singh IPS, DIG D-K-R Range Shridar Patil IPS, DIG J-S-K Range Shiv Kumar IPS, DIG R-P Range Tejinder Singh IPS, DIG Traffic Jammu Dr. Haseeb Mughal IPS, DIG Pers J&K Mubassir Latifi IPS, Sessions Judge (Retd.) Subhash Gupta , Director FSL Gurmukh Singh , were the special guests of honour. District SSPs, Staff officers, Senior officers of Prosecution, SDPOs and other gazetted officers were also present on the occasion.

In his address, Director General of Police, J&K Nalin Prabhat IPS said that J&K Police has been implementing new criminal laws on ground with enthusiasm and conducting investigations in time-bound-manner. DGP J&K appreciated the role of Crime Branch for organising the grand exhibition at Jammu and further said that similar exhibitions shall be conducted in each district so that people come to know everything about the new criminal laws. The objective of organizing a big exhibition of this kind is to create awareness in public, the DGP added.

A large number of people including students and scholars thronged the exhibition site on the 1st day of three-day event and got themselves educated regarding the new criminal laws. The NCL exhibition of this kind is organized first time in Jammu and it will continue till 24th of September from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. SSP Benam Tosh, the nodal officer, has invited the people to participate in the exhibition and get valuable knowledge about new criminal laws.

Various stalls showcasing the functioning vis-a-vis new criminal laws, i.e. Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), are displayed by District Police, Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Police Control Room (PCR), Women Police Station, Cyber Police Stations , Prosecution , ANTF, CICE, Special Crime Wing (SCW) , Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch Jammu, J&K Health Department and other units.
